I never post reviews, but this experience was appalling and aggravating. It evoked something in me to write this review.|The Armani Hotel is visually stunning, but the service and guest experience were deeply disappointing. Our room was contemporary, modern, and beautifully designed, with sleek architectural details, a large balcony, and a gorgeous fountain view. The suite itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Everything about the room beyond aesthetics was excellent. We initially booked a suite with a fountain view before being upgraded to a larger fountain-view suite, which was a nice gesture. By contrast, the lobby had a surprisingly dreary, almost lifeless feeling. Check-in was slow; our room wasn’t ready, so we waited in the lounge for about an hour. The staff offered us three complimentary drinks during the wait, which was a small positive. All the other staff were generally accommodating and responsive, providing requested items when available. However, our interaction with Cameila at the front desk completely soured the stay. She explained that our room included Burj Khalifa tickets. We initially agreed to 9PM that same day, but she later said that time wasn’t available and suggested we switch to 9AM the next day. The following morning, she denied this conversation had ever taken place, insisted we had chosen 9PM, and refused to rebook or refund unless we paid again. Essentially trying to charge us twice for something already included. She spoke arrogantly and condescendingly, trying to gaslight us into believing the mistake was ours. I felt completely disrespected and frustrated. It was shocking to be treated this way at a hotel of this reputation. The checkout experience was equally frustrating. The hotel taxi first quoted 150 AED, then raised it to 200 AED, and after missing his own exit, increased it to 300 AED. During the ride, he even handed us his phone to navigate for him and made strange, uncomfortable comments, including saying, “In all of my 27 years working here this is the first time I’ve come to this hotel. It must be a Filipino hotel,” laughing at his own remarks. He was pompous and pretentious throughout the ride. When we arrived at our next hotel, he pressured the security guard into carrying all of our luggage up to the room, arguing until the guard complied. The entire ordeal left me feeling pity for the security guard. We made sure to tip him instead of our taxi driver. I expected 5-star treatment, but every interaction left me disappointed and disheartened. Compared to other 5-star hotels we’ve stayed at, including Conrad and Hilton Palm Jumeirah, the differences were stark. Those hotels were friendly, accommodating, and thoughtful. We even received free birthday cakes at Hilton and chocolates at Conrad and Hilton, gestures we never requested. At Armani, there was no such hospitality, and the lack of courtesy made us feel unvalued as guests despite the high price of the suite. In short, while the room and design were beautiful, the dreary lobby, arrogance, dishonesty, and lack of professionalism at Armani made it a frustrating and disappointing experience. Armani will take your money and belittle you with their entitled behavior. Guests looking for true 5-star service should look elsewhere. Don’t waste your money here. We will never stay here again when we visit Dubai in the future, and...

Overall it's an overrated and overpriced hotel. Check-in was a bit of a mess and after waiting in the lobby for over 20 minutes we were told our rooms were not yet available. Which was fine but we could have been told sooner.
The front desk remained a mess during our stay. At times there was a line of people waiting for service from the one person behind the counter. At others, there simply was no-one there at all. And once also someone very polite, professional and efficient. It's an unfortunate way to run a 5 star hotel. Luckily the concierge was considerably more attentive.
I had a problem with my room key and was told it was my fault as I must have demagnetized it. Not the most polite attitude.
The layout of the hotel is strange with different elevators to get to different parts of the buildings. But the signage to the mall and to the Atmosphere restaurant is dreadful. You basically have to find your way through a fire escape.
The room was very small and showing signs of wear and tear. Nowhere to store a suitcase except in the entrance way. The electric curtains don't open completely and are blocked by the furniture. Surprisingly poor layout, with gimmicks like a video doorbell.
I had a double bed with very comfortable mattresses but they were two mattresses pushed together and the over-mattress was too thin to make up for the softness of the mattress, so not a very comfortable sleep with a hard ridge in the middle of the bed. I expect better.
View from the room over the fountain was great.
The dark brown decor of the hotel makes it a little gloomy and dated. The toilet paper dispenser fell off whilst I was there and the doors and walls have cuff marks. It already needs renovation.
The pool was unfortunately closed whilst we were there and I had no interest in going to whatever temporary alternative the hotel proposed.
My minibar was not stocked so it was particularly irritating to be disturbed by a man coming to "check the contents". I told him it was empty and there was nothing to check but he insisted on coming in and inspecting it himself. It shows the general lack of attention in a hotel when the person in charge of stocking mini bar does not even know which rooms have been stocked to begin with!
Breakfast was superb and the chefs do a really great job. 5 stars for the food. Although again, service...
