Nestled in the heart of Difc, Mamaesh Restaurant offers a delightful culinary journey into Palestinian cuisine. Known for its warm hospitality and authentic flavors, Mamaesh captures the essence of traditional Palestinian dishes with a modern twist.
The highlight of our dining experience was undoubtedly the fatayer, savory pastries filled with a variety of ingredients like spinach, cheese, or minced meat. Each bite was a perfect blend of crispiness and flavorful fillings, showcasing the chef's expertise in pastry making.
Accompanying our meal was a refreshing salad, bursting with freshness and vibrant colors. The ingredients were evidently sourced with care, enhancing the overall dining experience.
For the main course, we indulged in the chicken zatar wings, a tantalizing dish marinated in a blend of aromatic spices and herbs. The chicken was tender and infused with the distinctive flavors of zatar, leaving a memorable taste on the palate.
No Palestinian meal is complete without freshly baked bread, and Mamaesh excels in this department. The bread served was warm, soft yet perfectly textured, complementing every dish it accompanied.
The ambiance at Mamaesh is cozy and inviting, ideal for both intimate dinners and gatherings with friends or family. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, offering recommendations that added to our enjoyment.
In conclusion, Mamaesh Restaurant stands out for its commitment to authenticity and quality. Whether you're a connoisseur of Palestinian cuisine or a newcomer eager to explore new flavors, Mamaesh promises a culinary adventure that won't disappoint. I look forward to returning soon to savor more of their...
Read moreIt was a great experience to dine at this Palestinian restaurant. Very homely ambience and prompt service. While the food in the region is similar but every country has their own tests to the dishes which makes them unique such as use of Zaatar all across dishes.
Hummus with foul - perfect balance, not bitterness; paired extremely well with the breads; the green chillies salsa on top was the icing on the cake
Spinach fateyr- cooked well, outer breas was soft and crunchy, yet holding it's place; the inner filling was not my cup of tea though; overpowered with spices; I guess one may need to develop a palette for this
Chicken wings with zaatar in lemon sauce - the wings were perfectly cooked and had a kick from tbe zaatar but the sauce was too lemony, a little more balance to sauce would have been nice.
Minced meat mama'esh - the thin soft base to the mama'esh made all the difference. In every bite it had the perfect amount of cheese and minced meat along with the bread. Sprinkled with zaatar, fresh leaves and Red spicy chillies made the dish taste wholesome.
Kunafa- while it's have had kunafa many times before from several turkish restaurants but nothing stands close to this one. The cheese played the dominant role than the crispy vermicilli and the swetness was dialed down which made the dish more enjoyable.
Looking forward to trying more of the dishehs on the menu during my next...
Read moreWent there last night with my friends, first point was Arabic guys from the kitchen when we entered one of them said ouffff which is either sexual abuse to the ladies with us or he's bothered about having clients at late nights which shouldn't be the case and luckily i couldn't see who did it as they bothactedlikenothinghappenedwhen i looked at them. Second point is again the kitchen team they either need to get training on how to serve food or they should stay in the kitchen, the guy was literally showing up from any place out of nowhere and dropping the food wherever it is without giving us a second to free up some space. 3rd point which is the worst is 3 of us who shared few items couldn't sleep all night because of food poisoning and still until today it's the same so you really need to look after your quality standards in this specific branch as I'm always in Mama'esh and seems like branches with low sales their food isn't fresh but it shouldn't reach to food poisoning. Other people who seek compensation in Dubai would have went for medical check and make a big deal out of it. Here is the items i we shared yesterday ( chicken and cheese fatayer, Sujuk fatayer, chilli minced meat fatayer and zattar and lemon...
