Pars iranian restaurant Deira — Restaurant in Dubai

Here is what I experienced: We were happy that we can spend our Yalda night in an Iranian restaurant and we expected some special events in the restaurant for such an occasion. We reached there at 23:02 and we saw a paper on the door mentioning that the restaurant is operating until 23:30, but surprisingly they didn't let us in, and they said it is closed. Yet I couldn't figure out why a restaurant should close by 23:00, and why they should write wrong timing on the door. I had the same experience on the other branch few months back. We ordered the set menu for 2 which came with 2 skewers of chicken kebabs and 2 skewers of lamb kebabs, and 2 plates of rice with nothing else. At AED 158 that worked out to AED 40/ per skewer and thats OK if the food was exceptional but it was average at best. I've had better kebabs at Al Mallah for a quarter of the price. The rice was ok but dry and very difficult to eat given that the kebabs are also dry. We wanted to try it out and will not be going back there ever again.
