I used to be frequent visitor. But today I really regretted for visiting to the restaurant… After I ordered the food, another order taker informed me through someone that I didn’t pay for the bill last time. Then I informed that my last visit was in October and I showed the 2 deducted bills in my bank account. But the cashier forced me to pay for the bill which issued on 03.12.24 at 21:00. I paid due I was in the upset mood and just left. Later I found I was on duty from 19:00 to 07:00. And somebody advised to get the bill and raise a complaint against to them in the DED website to impose penalty. When I came back in 10 minutes they told me they didn’t manage to find the bill which has been kept since that time because of I told them that I need that bill to complain to respective authorities. In short one of senior staff started to pacify and beg me to take my money back. I just took and left. My conclusion in that kind of scenarios they just get rid of customer easily when they are even right or even wrong. And I think they are very suspicious to other nationalities who doesn’t...
Read moreMy recent visit to Baha restaurant left me with a mixed impression. While the kofta dish we ordered was quite good, the liver sandwiches were a major disappointment. The liver had an unpleasant color and taste, which prompted us to flag this to our waiter.
Regrettably, the response from the staff was not satisfactory. Despite acknowledging the issue after smelling the dish themselves, they returned with the chef's assurance that the liver was fresh. As regular patrons of this restaurant, we were taken aback by the poor taste and smell of the liver this time.
It's disheartening when a restaurant we frequent fails to address customer concerns effectively. Rather than reassuring us that the liver was fresh, a more proactive approach to finding a solution would have been appreciated. Quality control is essential in maintaining customer satisfaction, and I hope the restaurant takes this feedback constructively to improve their service and...
Read moreLooking for some authentic Egyptian cuisine at affordable prices? 🇪🇬 . . Head over to Masmat Baha restaurant and fulfill your cravings. This place is known for their Egyptian Cuisine. The prices are reasonable. Great portions too. They have indoor and outdoor seating but it gets pretty crowded. I guess a takeaway would be ideal. Staff is quick and helpful too.
We tried mix grill (AED 43) , mommbar (AED25), hawawshi (AED15) and umm ali (AED13). We were also given the complimentary salad, pickles and tahena. So good. I loved the mix grill. It was a combo of lamb chops, kofta, fries and Egyptian bread. Perfect with hommus and bread. Not a big fan of mommbar tho. Yet it was different and tasted good. It’s sheep casing stuffed with rice. Loved the taste of hawawshi but it was a bit too oily. It’s pita bread with meat. Um Ali was just perfect. A bread pudding with milk, sugar, pastry, nuts and raisins. Mildly sweet. Yet...
