Food is more than amazing tbh I give it 5 stars! It’s so unique, new and tasty !! But the service in ramadan is not that good ! When i called to book i first asked if i can have a la carte menu they said yes , so we came we ordered for one iftar menu and one plate a la carte they said no a la carte menu is not available until we told them that we already called and bla bla , the manager came and finally we chose something that they can make and we made the deal! When the bill came they charged us iftar set menu 2 pax with the extra a la carte plate ! So i asked her why 2 pax for iftar menu? You brought only one and you didn’t ask what we want for the second set .. we were so clear that we want one iftar set menu and the rest will be a la carte ! The waitress said that they offered a big portion for two , ok thanks but I didn’t ask for it maybe I don’t eat meat same as my friend ! She didn’t say anything only nodding and smiling she didn’t have an answer ! Extremely disappointed with my first order from Smat. I ordered a sticky date cake, but what I received was an unrecognizable mess of burnt crumbs. To make matters worse, I clearly mentioned in the notes that I’m pregnant and expected extra care with my order, but it seems that detail was completely overlooked.

I reached out to customer service, and while I did get a refund through Deliveroo, the response I got was shocking. The lady on the phone insisted the burnt mess was “fine” and even suggested I add sauce to it. How can anyone justify delivering something so inedible?
