I had the pleasure of visiting THEA for breakfast, located in the vibrant Dubai Design District (D3), and I must say—it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish.
The ambience is chic yet calming, with a stylish interior that perfectly complements a relaxed morning vibe. Whether you’re dining solo, catching up with a friend, or looking for a quiet spot to start your day, THEA strikes the perfect balance between elegance and comfort.
I tried the avocado toast and the Turkish eggs, both of which were outstanding. The avocado toast was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, while the Turkish eggs were rich and comforting with just the right blend of spices and textures. To accompany my meal, I ordered their hazelnut coffee, which was smooth and indulgent, and some fresh juices—refreshing and vibrant, the perfect pairing to a wholesome breakfast.
A special mention goes to Shyam (S-H-A-M), who served me during my visit. He was incredibly courteous and attentive, taking the time to explain the menu and recommend dishes that turned out to be spot-on. His warm hospitality made the experience all the more enjoyable.
If you’re in or around D3 and looking for a fantastic breakfast spot, I highly recommend THEA. Great food, exceptional service, and a lovely atmosphere—definitely a place I’ll be...
Read moreStepping into Thea at Dubai Design District (D3) feels like entering a peaceful, sun-kissed sanctuary. The all-glass space is bathed in natural light, making the soft white and beige interiors glow beautifully through the day, lit with natural sunlight pouring in from every angle. The upstairs seating, accessed via a gracefully designed staircase, adds charm to the space. I visited Thea for breakfast and couldn’t have asked for a better start to the day. I began with a refreshing fresh pineapple juice, naturally sweet and hydrating — the perfect wake-up drink. My main dish was the avocado toast on sourdough. The sourdough was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft within, topped with a generous layer of creamy, mashed avocado and eggs seasoned with pomegranate seeds, greens and cherry tomatoes. It was light yet satisfying.
To complement the meal, I had a café latte — smooth, rich, and served at the perfect temperature, with just the right balance of espresso and creamy milk.
Whether you're looking for a peaceful solo breakfast, a catch-up with friends, or a relaxed meeting spot, Thea offers a wonderful atmosphere with thoughtful food and a view that makes you want to linger longer. I’ll definitely be back to explore more...
