I recently had the pleasure of dining at Umami Restaurant in Mirdif City Center, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The restaurant specializes in Japanese cuisine, and I decided to try their Chicken chili ramen. The dish had a mild spice level that was just perfect for me, and the chicken was cooked to perfection, making it juicy and flavorful. The noodles were cooked al dente, and the broth was rich and flavorful, making every spoonful of the soup a delight to savor. The dish earned a rating of 7/10, which is impressive considering the quality of the ramen I've tried in the area.

The service at Umami Restaurant was incredibly fast and efficient. Despite being a food court restaurant, they managed to provide a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and provided chopsticks and spoons/forks, making it easy to enjoy the food in the traditional way.

Really loved having their umami ramen here. My kid absolutely loves the dish. The broth is very flavorful. The ramen is soft and cooked to perfection! I wish they had more vegetarian options though, nevertheless the taste at umami is top notch according to me. Service is also fast. The atmosphere is good as it's inside the mall. Overall a wonderful experience. Kids who love to eat noodles would surely love this place. My kid he loves to eat noodles and this restaurant serves delicious noodles the way he likes. One can customize their noodles from spicy to non spicy. From chicken to beef. I am looking forward to trying other dishes here. Maybe in the near future i will surely explore. But as there are very limited veg options it becomes difficult to explore. The staff here is very accommodating and will help you customise your food according to your preference. They take good care of the customer for sure.!!

I ordered the Bento salmon and Gyoza chicken. I was very disappointed with the food, the sushi was not filled and one literally had only two tiny strands of crab stick in it, I asked for extra ginger but was told it’s chargeable. The salmon was cold, had hardly any sauce on it and no flavour basically a waste of salmon. The shrimp tempura was ok but for the vegetables one piece was very thick and the other really thin, neither of them were tasty and I didn’t eat them. The salad was fine but consisted of mainly lettuce not like before. The gyoza filling was a solid lump not floating free in broth and one piece had been damaged so the dumplings was open and this was still included in the serving.
