Not safe. There is the “sky trail” in the magic planet south of MCC there is a zip line with steps, and you are attached to an air conditioning pipe. my 12 year old brother got into it under the negligence of the staff, no parental permission required, and the only requirement to get in is to be 120cm, so an immature child who is 120cm is enough? is there not a problem of reason on the part of the staff and the rules? I caught my brother hanging, he was scared shaking, and he is only 12 years old, so when I caught him I go to ask the staff, a Filipino man, if it is normal and if there is a parental request for that, he tells me no and "what do you want me to do?" I don't know maybe you should do your job????? then he was literally making fun of me with a smirk and telling me that my little brother was having fun, I told him that he was my brother and that he was scared and shaking and the worker dared to contradict me, as if he spoke the same language as me and my brother? completely crazy. then I went to see another woman working there, also of Filipino origin and I told her that I didn't want to be mean but I told her about my dissatisfaction with the rules and her colleague, and she told me that it was normal for my brother to shake and that she was shaking too. so explain to me how an old woman like her is shaking and it's allowed to let an immature child do it? WITHOUT SAFETY. that is to say that if the pipe breaks, your child falls with it, and WITHOUT PARENTAL PERMISSION. with HORRIBLE staff!!!! They should give their jobs to people who deserve it and who care about the safety of children. The filipino guy also working there, very rude told me to talk to my brother but i said of course i will but the problem is HOW he ended there, if they allowed them? In Dubai hills, there is something smaller and its the same attraction type, there is literally the double of safety, on the child and UNDER the attraction...
Read moreThe play area and all other rides have a sign in front of them saying that kids above the height of 110CM can play on their own. However the 2 Magic planets located at Mirdif Mall doesn't allow that to happen (Magic planets located in MOE, Deira City Centre allows that, as per displayed rules). When questioned why you are telling a different rule from other branches and even different from what is displayed in front of them, the answer was "this is what it is from long time, you better be around for the safety of your kid, what if someone beat your kid in the play area". Approched the main billing counter, they had the similar answer.
Just to highlight, this particular play area charges 50 dirham, compare to 40 by others and they still can't have enough staff at play area to lookafter kids and they want parents to stay. The whole idea of leaving kids there was that they were supposed to be safe and parents can finish their work at mall, while they play. The unannounced rule at this location kills the entire purpose. Because of this, we are not even going back...

So when you can have some fun yourselves while your kids are burning holes in your pocket at this place. Money Matters: Pricey !! Some rides are 20 bucks. Seriously? Even my kids told me that it's not value for money The 5-point Experience: If you want to go Ifly or bowling inside a mall then this place could be the answer to your kids' question "What are we supposed to do here?" Or else just give it a pass. Verdict: Only go here if you have nothing...
