Zaatar w Zeit is a refreshing change from the typical Lebanese restaurants. What stood out to me was the flexibility in choosing your bread – they offer whole grain options, and the best part? The breads are eggless! That’s a huge plus for vegetarians who often struggle with hidden ingredients in baked goods.
We tried their classic Lebane bread, which was soft, fresh, and delicious. I added some vegetables to it (a small extra charge), and the combination worked really well. The highlight, though, was the falafel-stuffed bread. Unlike the usual deep-fried falafel, theirs is baked, making it a much healthier option without compromising on taste.
We also ordered hummus with baked sticks, which made for a light yet satisfying side.
Overall, Zaatar W Zeit offers healthier, vegetarian-friendly Lebanese food without skimping on flavor. Highly recommend for anyone looking for clean, wholesome Middle Eastern cuisine.
