I recently had the pleasure of dining at SISI's Eatery, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. This charming little spot has might become one of my favorite places to unwind and enjoy a meal, thanks to its impeccable service, serene atmosphere, and mouthwatering menu.
First and foremost, the service at SISI's Eatery is truly exceptional. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about ensuring every guest feels welcome and well taken care of. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile. Throughout my visit, the waitress went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, all while maintaining a perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness.
The atmosphere at SISI's is another standout feature. It’s the ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. The space is beautifully designed, with a cozy yet elegant vibe that makes it perfect for a quiet meal, a catch-up with friends, or even some solo relaxation. The soft background music and tasteful decor create a calming environment that allows you to fully enjoy your dining experience.
Now, let’s talk about the food and drinks—because wow, SISI's Eatery truly excels here. I started with their iced apple and elderflower tea, and it was nothing short of heavenly. The blend of sweet apple and floral elderflower was refreshingly light and perfectly balanced, making it the ideal drink to sip on a warm afternoon. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care goes into crafting their beverages.
For dessert, I indulged in the sticky date pudding, and it was an absolute showstopper. The pudding itself was moist, rich, and packed with deep, caramelized flavors, while the accompanying sauce was luxuriously smooth and just the right amount of sweet. Every bite was pure bliss, and I found myself savoring it long after the last crumb was gone.
In conclusion, SISI's Eatery is a gem of a place that deserves all the praise it gets. Whether you’re looking for exceptional service, a peaceful atmosphere, or simply some of the most delicious food and drinks around, this is the spot to visit. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu—though I already know the iced apple and elderflower tea and sticky date pudding will be hard to resist ordering again! Highly,...
Read moreHad a morning meeting at Dubai Hills Mall so I checked Sisi's menu online beforehand. The pictures looked amazing so I skipped breakfast at home and waited until 10 AM to try it. Big mistake 🤦🏻♂️
Our server was lovely and agreed to swap the hash brown and bread for cucumbers. I appreciated that🙏 She's also quite a saleswoman. She also upsold me from the Mediterranean Platter 75AED to the English Breakfast Platter 85AED. She was persuasive, bit funny I didn’t see that coming. Girl's got talent, I'll give her that 🙂
The English Breakfast Platter came with eggs your way, I asked for an omelette, our waitress suggested adding capsicum and I agreed, cheddar and brie cheese, baked beans, grilled asparagus, sautéed mushrooms, chicken sausage, jam and butter. My cucumber substitution worked out fine. Everything looked picture perfect when it arrived. Instagram worthy for sure. Then I took a bite of the omelette. Completely bland. Zero seasoning, no flavor at all. How do you mess up an omelette that badly?
The only thing that actually tasted memorable was the grilled asparagus and mushrooms. That's saying something when vegetables are the highlight of your breakfast platter. My latte 30AED was equally disappointing. Just average coffee with nothing special about it, I don’t understand why it costs so much. Imagine when a Venti Starbucks latte tastes way better, is way bigger and is even cheaper.
The whole meal gets a 7/10 for looks but taste wise it was such a letdown. You know when online photos promise so much more than reality delivers? This was one of those moments.
Will I go back? Probably not. There are so many breakfast options in Dubai Hills Mall to settle for bland food that only looks good. If you want a pleasant spot for a quick meeting, you might like...
Read morePleasant surprise to find an Austrian restaurant in Dubai! I have heard about Sakher Cake around Twelve years ago, but never had the chance to taste it until now. Such a delightful experience, eventhough I do not have much of a sweet-tooth.
I am more of meat aficionado and that's where Schnitzel comes into play. It was amazingly tasty and a healthy portion too. I advise anyone to have the potato salad along with the meaty delice. For those who are not into veal Sisi's provide a turkey and a chicken based Schnitzel, which I still need to try 😋 although I might just stick to the Veal version.
The staff are welcoming and attentive to your questions about Austro-german cuisine which is not really well known in the region. All the gentlemen that make up Sisi's team in DHM starting from Mostafa Adam to Lucas were constantly checking on me. We even had a conversation with Mr Mostafa, something that is rare in the restaurant business.
The environment at Sisi's Dubai Hills Mall location is relaxing, especially after a long week at work. I am sure that Mohamad, Mahmoud, Anne and Brian will do their utmost to make your experience as enjoyable as can be.
It is the first time for me to visit a restaurant or café two days in a row which is what happened here. On the 9th of March I tried the famous Sakher. The following day I came especially to try Schnitzel and I ended up ordering Kaiserschmarrn a shreded pancake that is adorned with raisins and caramelized sugar. A beautiful amalgamation of tastes, textures and colors lightly covered with powdered sugar. The light pancake with the juicy raisins that pop in your mouth complimented by the bits of brown caramelized sugar that crack under your bites.
It is one of those culinary experiences that deserve more...
