The BEST place to have sushi in Aberdeen! Their menu is filled with many sushi options from maki, temaki, nigiri and even sashimi! They had a selection of fish from tuna, salmon, smoked salmon, unagi and even king prawns. I highly recommend the unagi roll (8 large pieces). Its a roll with eel, cucumber and avocado. Another roll I recommend is the mixed selection futomaki/uramaki (8 large pieces) where you get to try any combination of seafood you like. I ordered the salmon, smoked salmon, tuna and king prawns futomaki. From there you can decide which roll you like and order a single kind futomaki/uramaki. I also highly recommend the Philadelphia roll which is a roll with cream cheese, peppers, cucumber, smoked salmon rolled in rice and fish roe. But any roll you order will be delicious. I am looking forward to go back again! Keep in mind that the place is very small and seats about 14 people for the whole restaurant. It's a very Japanese style as well. This gives the sushi chef's time to prepare your sushi and you'll be able to interact with them while they make your sushi. They are super friendly and nice people. JW sushi is from their names John and William. The service was quick. Everything...

This was our first time in Aberdeen and after spending two weeks in the highlands (Ballater) we were craving sushi. After an afternoon exploring the city center, we came across JW's Sushi, and we were really happy we did.

While it is not a fancy place by any stretch of the imagination, it really served some amazing sushi. My wife ordered a tuna poke bowl, I ordered a firecracker roll, and we shared a unavi roll.

The poke bowl had some incredibly fresh tuna, red pepper, cucumber avocado, green onions, sesame seeds, and rice. There was lots of tuna and it was delicious. The other ingredients were all very fresh and tastes great.

My firecracker roll was shrimp tempura, avocado, and cucumber, sureounded by rice. The roll was wrapped in very fresh, delicious salmon. The rolls were toped with Sriracha and Sriracha mayo. It was perfect.

The unagi roll was eel, avocado, and cucumber, wrapped in rice and the roll was wrapped in seaweed. I am generally not a huge eel fan (Stacy is), but this roll was really good.

The staff was friendly and helpful. If we ever get back to Aberdeen we will definitely be back...

Lovely attentive staff, chef John and William are really charming and patient with our kids. Thou a smal size place it get cozy and intimate, a perfect atmosphere to celebrate our sons birthday dinner who is a sushi lover. Now talk about freshly made sushi right in front of you 5⭐️ . We’ve been to more luxurious sushi restaurant and never got freshly home made wasabi nor ginger. My teenage daughter kept commenting on the nice fragrance of the restaurant (that says a lot). We really enjoyed our evening, thank you for making it extra special, and for the exclusive dessert we got for free, wow! amazing surprise, truly the best experience does not need...
