Yesterday evening we visited Koh-I-Noor. The food is exceptional, with so many delcious options on their extensive menu. The Peshwari Naan is a must. We even said it’s the best we have ever tasted it. Everything was really fresh and all cooked to order, you can really tell the difference. The Mango Malai was served in a deliciously refreshing sauce made with real mango. The King Prawns were huge and coated in scrumptious exotic spices. The Corn Chicken is totally different to anything we have had before, definitely a must try if you are a baby corn lover. The service we received was excellent, all staff made sure we had everything we wanted and ensured we had plenty drinks Starters *Popadoms & Chutney- Mango, mint raita & spiced onions *Corn Chicken- Baby corn stuffed wrapped in breaded chicken *King Prawn Puree- Spiced prawns with deep fried bread Mains *Mango Malai- Cooked with fresh Mango, fresh cream, sultanas and cashew nuts *Shahi Vojon- Chicken, king prawn, shack kebab and lamb cooked with exotic spices Sides *Peshwari Naan *Coconut Rice *Green Salad *Roti *Cucumber & Onion Raitha

Quite probably the worst Indian meal I've had, ever. We were the only 2 in the place and it took an age to get our main, which in hindsight wasn't a bad thing. You'd like to think it was because they were perfecting the authentic flavours......... The North Indian 'supposedly hot' main was nothing better than a bowl of overdone peppery chicken. Reminds me of 90's Coventry where you could 'throw any old sh1t at them' and they'd eat it, and I did, and it reminded me of this place 🤦🏻‍♂️ Very poor, won't be going back, thankfully.

This was one of the worst indian restaurant experience. The starter was okay, but not extraordinary But then the vegetarian mains and the naan bread was really bad. Both Matar paneer and daal makani had a weird, disgusting cheesy taste. The taste didn't come from paneer... And the naan was more a pizza dough then a naan. Also the music was too loud and their cardpayment system didn't work with either of our cards, so we had to get cash. All in all very disappointing and also quite expensive

I had the good fortune to be invited to Kohinoor for an evening meal last week. This Indian restaurant at 62 Bridge Street, Aberdeen is a gem among restaurants offering a wide range of Eastern delicacies and sensational taste combinations all served by smiling staff from a spacious kitchen to the equally spacious but relaxing dining area. The cuisine was excellent and was suitable for a broad range of tastes and preferences which the kitchen was more than eager to cater for. Wonderful! Culminating in making a pleasant family outing a memorable event which I and my family look forward to repeating soon. I highly recommend Khinoor fo all culinary events and feel it is a must for Aberdonians and...

I enjoyed a delicious meal this evening at Koh-I-Noor. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and made me feel right at home. For starters I kept it simple with lamb samosa. They were excellent with a very light and crispy batter. I experimented by combining them with some of my lime pickle left over from the popadoms which worked surprisingly well! For my main, I had the Goan seafood cocktail. The sauce was very well created as to not overpower the delicate taste of the scallops, monkfish and king prawn which were all cooked to perfection. I had also ordered garlic fried rice which was delicious on its own but maybe the wrong choice to pair with the seafood as the flavour of the...
