PRIVATE BUSINESS FUNCTION - Thoroughly recommend the events team for making this a very successful evening hosting around 80 - 130 people. Set up for seating and standing. Allowed us to decorate; provided and ran the comm's for videos and speeches. Picked the perfect choice of background music. A huge shout out to the bar staff who were all extremely efficient, so friendly, lots of fun whilst still being professional and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble and they anticipated at lot of our needs before we even thought / asked. Food - OGV allowed us to bring in our own catering vendor (as it pertained to the event), so although they didn't provide food on this occasion, they did provide great catering facilities and assistance which was 5 star. We Held our organisations 40th Anniversay Party at OGV Taprooms for 70 people. From the moment we arrived to set up, the team were welcoming, helpful, and fully supportive, from sorting out the mics and AV setup, to assisting with our outdoor BBQ arrangements from Absolute Roasters who we arranged separately and making sure everything ran smoothly throughout the day.

The space was fantastic, and the atmosphere was exactly what we were hoping for, relaxed, fun, and celebratory.

We really appreciated the flexibility around arrival times for our team and caterers, as well as help coordinating the drinks tokens and managing the bar service so efficiently. The bar staff were friendly and efficient too. Overall...

Well unfortunately when I popped up to the tap room on a Wednesday afternoon (18/08/21) the doors were open but I was greeted outside with the words "we are not open mate". Apparently although the opening times are shown that they would be open it was a wasted journey. I have been following this for a while on social media and thought I would add my support by trying some of the local beers.
