The Coffee Lounge. — Restaurant in Adur

Ordered a tuna melt panini with my tea, order atill hadn't appeared 20 minutes later, so I asked if it was coming, I was told they had forgotten about it and they would make it straight away, 10 minutes later it still hadn't appeared and I was told it would just be a couple of minutes, I had to be somewhere so after 5 minutes I said that I would need it to take away, then minutes later I approached them and said that I had to leave, I was already late leaving and said that It would be 2 minutes, the girl slowly walked out the kitchen after being told where it was going, and took her time walking to me to give me the panini and slowly handed it over saying sorry... I don't understand how it can take 20 minutes to make a panini! Clearly customers do not matter to this cafe as it took a good few minutes after going in to be acknowledged, forgetting about my order, then taking their time with it. The food was average, if you choose to risk this place then set aside a good few hours for their slow service if you sre lucky enough to be remembered. I will not be returning and will find somewhere that they actually care about...

Very unhappy the third time in 2 weeks I've been told we're not serving food as were shutting at 4 even tho Google says 5pm and surely if you shut at 4 you serve till 4 then clean not dissatisfy a regular customer, I drove from Worthing to have just a simple toastie which takes 5 minutes but no their shutting, well I've been going here for 5 years and now, I won't again it just wastes my time and disappointed I'll just have to have an Asda sandwich just like I'm having again now thanks to coffee lovers, local business for local people but only if you arrive probably by 3 coz...

Don't go there if you need extra help or a friendly smile. Staff used to be lovely, friendly and helpful but the staff I saw yesterday could not raise a smile or a please and thank you. The lady seemed more interested in the Just Eat machine than anyone in the shop and the happy, friendly atmosphere I remembered had gone. Also bear in mind the seats are impossible for the less and able bodied being either very low or bench style. I have used the Coffee Lounge for many years but sadly I don't think I will be going back. I left feeling my custom was unwanted and...
