Bank Holiday Visit Monday 30th August. Sad to say I had to reduce what would be a 5 star review for the amazing food down to a 3 star because of the awful service received from the waitress on todays visit (never had a problem before today). We were not recognized upon sitting down but It was reasonably busy so could be excused, however after sitting there for 10 minutes and not even having a "be with you in a minute" it started to become frustrating we had all chosen and put menus down and clearly waiting sat there waiting to be served, then a new gentleman entered and found a seat and the waitress walked over and took his order immediately! we carried on waiting and still nothing so my partner had to go up to the till and asked if we could be served soon, she did not receive a particularly nice response or any apology for the delay. When finally served the waitress was cold and unfriendly like we had done something wrong for wanting to order! yet all other customers some obviously regulars were being chatted to with jokes and laughs. The toast was half the normal portion which was then rectified when my partner loudly said "we usually get more than this?" such a shame as the food quality is amazing but front of house staff is very important better training needed. Four of us were driving past this little cafe on our way to our regular cafe. However we don't like going to the other cafe as a foursome as it's just a little cramped and our 20m old ends up annoying people on other tables. So the fact this wasn't as busy as it usually is got our attention and we stopped to give it a try. Parking outside was quick and easy and free for an hour and we walked straight into a choice of all but one table. We were sat down had placed our order within five minutes. Food was reasonably priced and the kids meal was a good size. Being hungrier than usual I ordered the Aldwick Ultimate breakfast which consisted of 2 Sausages, bacon ,2 eggs, beans, mushrooms, black pudding, and bubble. It's basically everything I normally aim for with an extra egg and sausage for just a tenner. It was superb!

By the time we finished every table was full and people were poking their head and leaving disappointed, so it looks like we'd been lucky and this place can get busy quickly. However it has a lot of space around the tables so it's never uncomfortable. Service was great and very friendly. We'll definitely be back again soon, maybe next...

Myself and my partner recently visited this cafe and were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive to us despite being very busy the waitress acknowledged us as we came in and was with us to take an order within 5 minutes. We were amazed to see all of the tables so clean with how busy it was. We both ordered a breakfast and it was delicious, the food was definitely all cooked to order and piping hot. It was very well presented and a very generous portion. The prices are slightly higher than some cafe's however given the excellent service, cleanliness and decent portion sizes I believe these are reasonable. They are advertised as open all week 7-15:00.
