Been wanting to try this place for a while with its local foods and sea view. Managed it this week and I have zero regrets! Was a little warm inside but sat outside looking at the sea, they had not one but two gluten free cake options…so I ordered both! The brownie won my first place but the Bakewell was a close second. Stayed for some lunch and I had perfect nachos, balanced spice and guacamole, good amount of cheese and well presented. Read moreStopped here for coffee and cake to interrupt our walk with our dog along the promenade. We have previously had lemon drizzle and carrot cake, both of which were really tasty, and today we tried the flapjack (which was lovely). The café was very compact and cosy and we sat in the window in the sunshine with a view across the road towards the pier. Other customers were sitting outside in the late October sunshine although soon dispersed when it started raining. The staff are really friendly and we felt very welcome in this really dog-friendly cafe....
