The bar staff were exceptionally friendly, we felt very welcomed. The food was delicious. I went for the pie of the day, which was chicken and chorizo, beautiful pastry with good filling and sauce inside. Vegetables accompanying the pie and mash were cooked nicely. If I was in the area for longer I definitely would have gone back to try their quiche of the day too. The Tap also has a great selection if beers. So overall a great place for a drink with a large outdoor seating area in the back, which led onto a lovely green enclosed seating area (photographed). The venue can be a bit of a maze, as it's part of the Norfolk Arms Hotel, so there is also a second bar further in from the Tap (the Tap is directly by the street entrance). The toilets were inside the hotel but I think when busy they also have other toilets closer to the beer garden available

The Norfolk tap in Arundel is in a good central spot in the middle of town, I'm a bit confused as to know what it actually is, is it a hotel a pub or a tea room, and even less sure where the toilet is still. However the staff were friendly has a really nice selection of beers in the fridge and actually has a decent sized garden tucked round the back.

Went for Sunday lunch in the Tap. Swift service. Excellent choice of local ales. I went for the Sussex Gold. Choice of roast. Picked the beef which was perfectly cooked and served with yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, parsnsip, carrots, beans and broccoli to live up to its price tag. Will be going back to sample more of the ales.

I've been walkibg past here many times and only ever had meal and drink once. I really enjoyed it and the staff are very friendly. I can't remember the last time I had a fish finger sandwich if not at all. The area by the arched entrance is very cool to sit and eat/drink went the weather is warm or hot.

Silly moo cider on tap was very tasty, great selection of local beers.. big and well spaced out garden. Made a nice change from the usual closely packed out pub garden. Wood fired pizza. Fresh vegetarian salad with a whole ball of mozzarella. Only little thing was that I had to ask for cutlery.
