Tesco Cafe — Restaurant in Ashfield

I was disappointed to find that it is card only and I can only order by the machine. If you scan your club card you get a free kids meal if you buy an adult meal. That’s a positive. I scanned my Clubcard at the end of the transaction I noticed on the receipt it did not take off lewis’s meal. I asked one of the ladies in the Tesco café if it could be refunded and she went back to the machine I used and she was struggling to refund my money. She said can I just get you a free side to compensate? I said no, I want my money please. She said, are you sure you just don’t want to take the side? You’re causing me aggro. I couldn’t believe she said that! I said no I want my money back please. She rang the IT department and they told her it was the customers responsibility to make sure the club card is scanned properly. I thought it had scanned. She managed to do it in the end, but I will be checking my bank. It’s safe to say I will not be going back there again. ...

Went in this week to do my weekly shop while browsing got hit full on on my right hand side by a full crate being pushed by a member of staff by some miracle I did not fall over but it jared my whole body giving me an instant migraine the member of staff begrudgingly said sorry and walked off not happy with the treatment from the managers who were more concerned about their own welfare my point is what if an old person or a child had been hit are we safe shopping here I don't know if I dare shop here again still waiting for a phone call four days after the incident even though I was promised a phone call from the management on the day it happened very poor treatment if you do shop here hold your little kids incase this...

Wont be visiting again for breakfast .egg was like you got from a joke shop .bacon was scrag ends .beans dry . Spoke to the chef (.if he was a chef ) doubt it very much .he had the cheek to say.when you order again. just let me know how you would like your egg cooking ...really. avoid breakfast at all times. Oooh watch out for the cons the staff dont.... tell u about wen ordering ..I.e mushrooms ash browns.etc .your bill never ends up the price on the menu .I queried the bill .I was told by the not so pleasant staff you have to state what you would like .otherwise your automatically charged. .what a joke Tesco...
