Glowing Reference for Cinnamon Spice!

Cinnamon Spice has proven to be an absolute gem of a restaurant, consistently delivering exceptional food and service that goes above and beyond expectations. I recently had the pleasure of ordering a variety of dishes, and every single one exceeded my expectations in taste, quality, and presentation.

The Saag Aloo was a perfect blend of spices and freshness, showcasing the chef’s incredible skill in crafting authentic flavors. The Chicken Tikka Starter was beautifully seasoned and cooked to perfection – tender, flavorful, and a testament to their attention to detail. Similarly, the Meat Samosas were crisp and packed with a deliciously spiced filling that left us craving more.

The Chicken Korma was a creamy masterpiece, balancing sweetness and spice with impeccable precision, while the Bhuna Lamb offered a robust and hearty flavor that clearly reflected the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every bite was a delight!

The accompanying Pilau Rice, Egg Fried Rice, and Naan breads (both Keema and Plain) were fantastic – fluffy, fresh, and served warm, complementing the main dishes perfectly. Special mention goes to the Keema Naan, which was generously filled and bursting with flavor. Even the small touches like the Chutney Mint elevated the entire meal, highlighting the restaurant’s dedication to excellence.

The speed and efficiency of the service were remarkable. Despite the variety of dishes we ordered, everything arrived quickly, hot, and exactly as expected. The staff were courteous, attentive, and made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable.

Cinnamon Spice is a restaurant I would highly recommend to anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience. From the chef's outstanding skills to the impeccable customer service and fresh, high-quality ingredients, they truly set the standard for excellence. This will undoubtedly remain my go-to for delicious and reliable meals.

A huge thank you to Cinnamon Spice for delivering a meal to...

Mum jimmy Dean &I decided on Monday 10 February. That we would book for Valentine's night at cinnamon & spice,as jimmy took mum there on their first date. So he phoned up & booked it for 6.30 for the four of us.we were really looking 4ward to going. This is how last night started, we arrived at cinnamon & spice just be4 6.30, to be told by the manager that we weren't book in.. I know that my dad did book it on the Monday. They did get us a table..which I thought our night won't be ruined.HOW WRONG WAS I..😪 We ordered our drinks &they came with the pompadoms..about 10/15mins later, the manager came to our table & said we had until 8.10pm to eat our meal.which may I say the time then was about 7.30pm (to him we replied ,they haven't taken our order yet).the (manager) then said. we will rush ur order though. (REALLY) I was so socked at the next thing he said..you will have to have ur starters & main course come out together. As, I myself had run pubs & restaurant's, I know how the turn over of tables work at these special occasions...mother's day Xmas..exct. exct... I went over to the (manager at the reception area) to have a quiet word with him.to my utter surprise & discuss (the manager said u did not book) as I said b4 we did....(he got his book & throw it on the counter & said have a look ur not there & we r fully booked). I was speechless.. Then I replied,we are leaving. To my utter dismay, he replied. Do what u want,(THIS IS THE MANAGER) we left. TO THE MANAGER OF CINNAMON & SPICE. ASHFORD. THANK U FOR RUINING MY MUM & DADS SPECIAL NIGHT, THEY HAD SOME REALLY GOOD MEMORIES AT UR RESTAURANT, When THEY HAD THEIR FIRST DATE. So thank you..... & also u ruined my husband & I first visit 2 the restaurant.( FIRST & ...

I will NEVER eat in either of the Restaurants that this Manager owns. I had booked a table last night in advance on the phone for 6, in which 2 of those seats were for my Children. When we arrived one of our party was running slightly late. At 6:20pm, so only 20 minutes sat at our table, we had been approached twice about only being allowed 1.5 hours until we HAD to give the table back. Upon booking there was NO mention of a time limit. This is when the Manager came over to the table and AGAIN told us how they had to have the table back by 7:30. He then continued to say how as it’s a Friday night they have a NO children policy! My children who may I mention one was fast asleep in her pram and the other quietly sat on her device so they were not making any noise of any sort. He continued to say that his diners do not like children making any noise when they dine in his restaurant. The Restaurant had more empty tables that full ones!! I am completely disgusted that a Restaurant in which I had dined at many times and ordered take aways from treated me and my Children like we do not belong in there. I asked him if this ‘No Children Policy’ was on his website and why this had not been mentioned to me upon booking, he said he it was. I have looked on the website as have my party and unless it’s VERY small printed we did not see this! So this restaurant had their table back by 7:30, because we did not stay to have our Meal. We asked for our bill, which they even had the cheek to add a Service Charge too! Highly recommend that if you like to eat your food at your own speed and like to be able to take your children out for dinner...

Second time eating here, and it was brilliant! The service was good, polite, friendly and professional, the atmosphere was okay, I wouldn't rave about it, I prefer authentic Indian music when at an Indian restaurant not Mariah Carey but it didn't distract too much from the delicious food! We had mixed kebabs, onions bajis and meat samosas to start - all delicious! Cooked well and flavoured well. Poppadoms and side accompaniments all good (you have to pay extra per person for them, other restaurants don't charge for the sauces / pickles). Mains we had the Indian butter chicken, and the Arinkali (i think) speciality, pilau rice, keema naan and peshwari naan and Tarka Daal. The two main dishes, both delicious, flavoursome and a good ratio of meat to sauce. The Daal was extraordinary! One of the best I've had in a restaurant! I did want the bindhi baji but they didn't have it which was a shame. The keema naan only had meat in one side which was a little disappointing but again everything was cooked perfectly well and flavoured really good. Final touches, warm hand towel, complimentary shot of Bailey's and an after 8 chocolate. Top notch food, great service! I will take friends and family here in the future. Be prepared though, even with 2 for 1 discounts it was still over £80 for two people.

My Journey of Flavors in Ashford! From the moment I stepped inside I was greeted with such warm hospitality. The restaurant's interior is tastefully decorated, combining modern elegance with subtle hints of traditional Indian culture. The soft lighting and comfortable seating gave an intimate atmosphere and was perfect for our gathering with friends and family. Cinnamon Spice had a diverse menu and each dish ordered was like a piece of art on plate. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the entire meal was superb! The attentive staff at Cinnamon Spice ensured that our dining experience was flawless. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to accommodate dietary preferences was commendable. They guided us through the menu, suggesting pairings and explaining the origins of each dish, adding an educational element to our meal. In summary, Cinnamon Spice is a culinary haven that elevates Indian cuisine to new heights. What an evening, thank you!

What a great find! We were staying at a local campsite in the area and visited the shops. Such an amazing smell coming from the restaurant! Visited Saturday night early. Restaurant itself was quiet but lovely. They were busy with take away orders with a long wait so obviously lots of people like the food. My daughter is vegan so very pleased with a whole page of vegan meals to pick from. Great service and good tasting food. Hers was more coconutty than expected and mine milder. The only negative would be the cost but we are not familiar with the local prices. Would visit again!
