Eureka Cafe — Restaurant in Ashford

AVOID if you want a breakfast where what you have asked for actually all turns up especially how you have asked this IS NOT the place to go. After almost every single delivery order being either wrong items missing or on 1 occasion a whole breakfast which we was told had be sent but magically never tuned up today after a long time of not using Eureka was the final straw of ordering from this establishment. 2 Eureka specials ordered 1 with extra bacon and fried slice. Placed the order rang the restaurant to ask for the 1 with extra bacon could we have chips in a poly box instead of hash brown and the bacon NOT to be well done. After waiting an hour rang to find out delivery was told it had left we then waited a further 35 minutes before our food turned up to find we had been sent no chips. The extra bacon I had paid £2.50 didn't exist and my not over done bacon was all over done. This place really does suffer with simple requests and instructions god help anyone with an allegy when they cant get the simple things correct and this has been almost every single order we have placed. Shame really either the the girls taking the calls aren't telling the kitchen or the kitchen are just not listening or there just not bothered offered chips and bacon to be re sent when asked how long was told an hour such poor customer service skills who wants chips after there breakfast! Gave this place the benefit of the doubt too many times and definitely won't be back now. If I could leave a zero star review I would given what did actually turn up wasn't...

Okay, let's face it: I'm a tourist and i would never figured out this place. On my way to Dover i stopped in Ashford at Sainsburys and got hungry- a quick search revealed this hidded gem- EUREKA Cafe. It's based in the "backlands" of Ashford, easy to reach in a couple of Minutes from the Motorway- but it's far away from all the Ashford's Sights like the Outlet or Trainstation. Located in a small shoppingcenter (stripmall) with a few parking lots EUREKA Cafe is offering simple english food- from Pie with Mash via English Breakfast Varieties up to different Coffee. The staff is friendly, the food is good and affordable- English Breakfast starts at 7£ including Coffee, you can pay Cash or by Card. So if you wanna' skip overpriced Hotel Breakfast, Gas Station McDonalds or if you just drive down the highway- make a quick stop and eat something....

Went there yesterday! Wish I hadn't. The service has gone down hill a couple of the staff were miserable! I was giving my order and she walked away before I had time to finish. I had to finish my order with another woman as she gave us our drinks! I am allergic to tomatoes so I said no tomatoes! But they Still put them on! I also asked for an extra sausage but none came! The quantity has decease alot also which is wrong, I would rather pay more then loose in quantity! Others not willing to pay more can order less! Then when it came to pay they messed that up too! Over £10 wrong! With the attitude and the poor service I didnt correct them! It wasn't worth it, normally I leave a tip but not this time! I don't think I'll be back anytime soon.
