Starbucks Coffee — Restaurant in Ashford

Alright so I’m from New York traveling abroad to the UK in the East South of Kent and I’m a big fanatic of Starbucks back at home. I’ve missed iced coffee since I been here. So I came into the shop today and let me tell you it was the best I could ever imagine! To the amazing cashier Jenny, who was absolutely great at making the drink after showing her on my phone of what I drink back at home!!! LIKE OMG WHAT?! IT WAS REALLY BETTER THAN BACK AT HOME IN NEW YORK!! 🙃🙂💯 Thank you so much Jenny!! Jenny was an outstanding, energetic, kindness, and absolutely amazing employee! If I were her boss, she would have gotten a high raise and employee of the month!! P.S. Jenny, keep up writing...

Went to Starbucks as no seating available at Costa that afternoon. Used to be a regular but I remembered why I don't go there anymore the moment we walked in.

Prices are way higher than any other coffee shop, atmosphere is depressing and uninviting, chairs are uncomfortable and it's just not a nice pace to sit, relax and have a nice coffee.

That being said, my Caramel Macchiato was yummy.

But back to...

Was shocked to be charged £2.35 for hot water, 5p for cup, £2.30 for milk as they could not put water through on the till? Surely if they charge there should be an option on the till! I understand we should pay for a cup, but £2.30 for boiling water. Cost of living crisis and Starbucks are charging for £2.30 for tap water, I was ordering a coffee as well by the way so wasn’t just...
