Valerie's Wine Bar — Restaurant in Ashford

Visited on a Friday evening. Atmosphere, service, drinks and food were above and beyond. I have my own little cocktail bar at home, so I have special appreciation when cocktails are served with pride and professionalism. The cheese & charcuretie board is simply amazing and to die for! Honestly I did not expect I would say this but the different breads and crackers, the local cheeses and spanish & italian cured meats are impeccable and a must between sipping on your favourite wine or cocktail! Thanks for the incredible experience, we will definitely be back! The only thing I would say which, now we have found you is probably not important to us but could help others is some kind of a sign or lettering to go out to the front of the unit advertising the name of the wine...

Quaint little place, was served gracefully and had a lovely time until at the end when we were leaving. Male staff clearing the table away (in close proximity) rudely interrupts us to remind us face masks compliance when using the toilet facilities. Might I add if this was a rule, which we are happy to comply to was never mentioned upon our check-in nor numerous times of visits to the toilet, not only by our party but many other customers. We did not appreciate the accusatory tone used when the staffs weren't wearing face masks themselves/ interaction in close range nor being polite about this matter. Management to look into this further for a process to avoid...

Very poor management in there. Manager thinking that he can charge people for drinks and after that kick them out without letting them finish their drinks. That only because apparently his wife thought that she heard talking about her husband (the manager), and she started verbally attacking the customer. Them are very aggressive and rude. Asking the security guy to throw customer out without them doing anything or talking with someone ... Security guy very rude also and aggressive. I would not give...
