In my opinion this is the best pub in Sudbury, most certainly as far as real ale and cider is concerned. The pub has meticulously kept beer at reasonable prices and some interesting guest ales appear on a rotation basis every week or so alongside some great core range ales from the local brewery. Updates of the new beers on tap can be helpfully found on their Facebook page, as can be information regarding live music acts (every Sunday) and for other events. The pub is dog friendly and some adorable mutts frequent the pub. If you're a Sudbury resident with a dog that is well behaved then I'd definitely recommend walkies to The Brewery Tap. You will find the staff are friendly and courteous. For those with the unfortunate (yet compelling) affliction of smoking, there is a beer garden with shelter from the rain.
