Mother's day lunch was cracking. No skimping on the beef! Duo of lamb very tasty, veg cooked perfectly. Helpful staff. Didn't seem to be any booze in my (free) cocktail, but it was very refreshing. Overall great food, and great value for money x

Fantastic stay and afternoon tea with the added bonus of sauna steam room and vitality pool. Such friendly welcoming staff who were attentive to our every needs. Thoroughly recommend a vist and will definitely be returning

Lovely stop, a must when in Lavenham. Don't miss their outside garden, if the weather allows. Whether it's tea, or wine/beer is up to you

Reading all the great reviews we were excited to eat at this restaurant. On arrival we were seated in a strange annex with tables very far apart, it was a odd set up. We waited 15 minutes for someone to take our drinks order. Then a further 40-50 minutes for our mains. Not once did the waiter come over and explain the delay or check on us. Food was OK but took too long. We were forced to leave without dessert as it would have taken too long. I complained to the manager/staff as we left and they looked at me as if I was silly making the excuse that they were very busy rather than apologizing. Some of the worst customer service I have seen here in the UK. I would not support such an...

Dinner for two in the Bistro Restaurant. Ordered Wonderwall draught beer and it smelled and tasted of vinegar (off) so returned it. Ordered Duck salad. The duck was OK but salad consisted mostly of peeled coloured carrots and hot chillies. Edible. My wife ordered the Tempura Monkfish. Tempura is a light batter that can easily be eaten with just a fork. This one resembled peanut brittle which my wife couldn't get into. The server offered her a bigger knife! Took fish and chips as a replacement which was a bit bland and didn't taste great. It was a real disappointment as the breakfasts we had here were amazingly good and the room/hotel decor and buildings...

Overpriced mediocre food. The courgette flower sounded temping, but oops, it was not available. Caprese salad ? “Sorry, not available “. Burrata Bruschetta? Nope, they don’t have it. We ordered the seared tune, ravioli as main course, and cauliflower croquettes. We got an overcooked supposedly fresh tuna with average salsa dressing. OK cauliflower croquettes with bland thick sauce and what was supposed to be crispy Cavalo Nero and turned out to be a chewy inedible “something”. Finally, £27 for a small portion of ravioli, which was supposed to be a main course and therefore larger than entrée portion, but it wasn’t. Honestly, the whole thing showed...
