Coffee Boy — Restaurant in Barnsley

So I have been loyal customer for going on two years. Yesterday I went and in the order there was a mix up on their part. When the situation was to be rectified the staff were nasty and blunt and unwilling to discuss their handling of the situation. The deputy manager was rude and not helpful to resolve the situation. I later went in and showed that I was a Google guide reviewer with over 8.3 million reviews and asked if she had any comment to how she handled the situation that was her staff fault. She did kind of apologise which I appreciated but wouldn’t clarify that it was her staff at fault and not us. I am saddened that I will no longer be going to this establishment and that I leave with a very poor review due to the way staff treat their patrons. Customer service is one of the worst I have come across. I did really like this place and was a loyal customer but now I shall look for another place that is more customer friendly and can admit when a mistake has happened and not blame it on the customer. We pop in for a Coffee which is good coffee.... We take it Decaffeinated Black so its straight forward and not messed about with. I haven't rated the food because we didn't sample any. Although the doughnuts look fully loaded. No good to a diabetic.... 🤔

We had a delivery as we are renovating and this place had been a saviour, until yesterday….

The coffee had spilled all over the bag and there was hardly any left in both cups. Usually they have foil over them and then the lid, but this time nothing! What was left of the coffee was also cold.

We have relied on here before as we are renovating and sometimes have no power or water and we are really disappointed this time!

I had 2 little sips left of a regular drink and my partner was missing half of his drink! It all leaked outside and inside the house!
