Loaf Catering and Cafe — Restaurant in Belfast

Ordered a delivery worth over £150 for an event. Did not deliver which meant having to go out and buy lunch for all the attendees at the last minute.

Called them, no answer. Called another of their cafes where someone did answer but said they had no idea why an order for a Saturday would’ve been accepted as they’re not open on a Saturday (it was ordered on their online system and confirmed a few days prior via email). Was blamed on an admin error and promised a refund.

Two weeks on I have received no refund and they have now not replied to my last two emails. I would absolutely avoid this company for any kind of event catering as they seem...

I've used Loaf Catering for many different events that we have run at BlueSky Video Marketing and The Future of Marketing and their service has always been first class. The menu options they have available are great and we've always had very positive feedback from event visitors about the quality of the food. I'm also a regular customer at The Bobbin cafe as well as an occasional visitor to Loaf Pottery in Crawfordsburn and the lengths I will go to to get my hands on one of the sausage rolls is beyond comprehension. Planned to call in for lunch around 2pm. Struggled to get parked due to its busy location opposite the hospital so don't think I made it in until 2.15 or so only to discover that they'd already packed up all of their food & only serve tea & coffee for the last hour or so that they're open. It'd be great if they could share this info on their Facebook page & other social media in their 'about section' so potential customers aren't making a wasted journey as I wouldn't have expected them to pack food away including scones etc until 3pm if they're open...
