Ditta Fast Food — Restaurant in Birmingham

I have been there a few times over the past couple of years. Each time the food was reasonable.

However today either there was a new worker or the shop has decided a new revenue generating scheme.

Our bill can to £23.30 and we gave £25 in notes. We were expecting change but nothing came. At the time we said nothing thinking maybe the cashier forgot which sometimes can happen and for a £1.70 change... we didn't mind

We ordered 2 xl pizzas and 3 x 2 pieces chicken and chips and another portion of large chips. This was because we ( a number of friends ) had decided to get together to watch boxing. I was to bring the food. When I got there I realised the shop instead of giving 3 x two piece meals gave only half (ie 3 x one piece meals)

Not only did they deceive us in giving change, they also withheld the food knowing I was taking out and would only notice when I get home

This is not about money but trust, as I was cheated today

This place has the best chicken kebab in all of Brumtown. They have good chips, friendly service, and fair prices.

I once had a good experience with Ditta's and they are good people serving the Sparkhill community.

I have recently gone into Dittas and found numerous issues that still haven't been addressed. I went in last Sunday to buy a mixed kebab to find out the electricity had ran out and they couldn't cook the kebab.

Who is responsible for paying for electricity ? They need to ring British Gas and pay them their money because now my stomach is empty.

When I went on Saturday, it took them 25 minutes to make a kebab and chips. Okay, they may have given me a bir extra in the end, but that's just a consolation for the fact that they took so long. Way too long I'm afraid and I wasn't really happy about this and they could tell.

You can't open up a chip shop or restaurant when your food is not ready. What about if I was busy and needed to get somewhere. Not okay.

One of the worst shawarma kebabs I ever had.

Chicken meat is old, no seasoning, no taste just smell of an old meat very dry and rubbery. You can see the meat is orange from the amount of food colouring they put in.

There is very small amount of sauce in it but it didn't make any difference as is totally tasteless. Pitfull amount of salad, just one slice of a tomato, few pieces of lettuce , string of onion.

It was the most disappointing shawarma I ever had and the fact that I was veey hungry didn't make any difference and had to leave half of it, felt sick to feel in the meat big lumps of rubbery pieces.

Unfortunately it was a take away meal so couldn't tell them there.

No parking as it is a residential road so unless you plonk the car outside on The road you can't get any place to park your car and have to drive far to get any spot

And it is CASH ONLY place, don't even want to...
