Nice interior design and although the place wasn’t very busy not much care was given to the cleanliness of the tables and floors unfortunately. We’ve been seated by a smartly dressed young lady with a twin tail hairstyle which was absolutely lovely and adorable, only for her to disappear in the foh bar. We then were randomly were assigned to another waitress that seemed not even wanting us there. We asked for drinks and later we ordered food but none of the servers seemed very interested in any questions or concerns we had and it truly felt underwhelming. We ordered a milk cake and a fudge cake with custard and on the side a tapas of 3 components to share. The two mains were brilliant and very appealing but the tapas were absolutely a disenchant. We had brownie bites, lemon and raspberry mini cakes and profiteroles. None of them we finished cause they were absolutely inedible and very cheap quality as if they were bought from a 99p store. Our servers kept swinging and changing during our one hour stay leaving us confused and not followed as everytime we asked for something had to wait ages even a simple glass of sparkling water seemed an issue. We felt not wanted and rushed to the door and for more than £40 spent was not worth it. I get its busy but as there is a first in first served putting pressure on already in customers it’s not ideal. We left almost all our tapas as they were inedible and overly sweetened and sickly. This place needs at least double the staff to take off some of the pressure that the existing one have. Everyone was running around like a headless chicken with no clue on what their next step is and 0 organisation. Such a shame because given the area and the nice decor they could have so much more success. Overall an expensive and underwhelming place to try. 3/10 you can find better in the same area for a more accessible price.

My recent experience at Heavenly Desserts left me incredibly disappointed, particularly with their offering of cookie dough. First and foremost, the cookie dough was burnt to a crisp, rendering it nearly inedible. Not only was it overcooked, but it was also distressingly stuck to the paper it was served on, making it a challenge to even salvage a bite. The portion size was laughably small, resembling more of a sample size than a satisfying dessert portion. However, the biggest letdown was the utter lack of flavor. Despite the promise of indulgent sweetness, the cookie dough tasted bland and uninspired, as if it had been hastily thrown together without any attention to quality or taste. It was a far cry from the delectable treat I had been anticipating. Overall, I cannot recommend Heavenly Desserts based on this experience. Their burnt, stuck-to-the-paper, tasteless cookie dough is a culinary catastrophe that should be avoided at all costs. Save your taste buds and your money by seeking dessert elsewhere. Nothing like it used to be. I used to love it when they actually cared about the desserts but now its just a fancy name to go along with less than mediocre desserts.

Visited the handsworth heavenly desserts branch. I never write reviews but this one needed one! As you can see the video and photo of what was given to us. I ordered the cookie jar then to receive a rock solid cookie mess of a show..which was stated to be soft cookie on the menu, this desert could not be eaten and when asked the waiter who replied this is because of the ice cream had made the cookie hard? I mean why would you serve this to any customer, it’s not edible. After all this the waiter said was nothing like what was shown on the menu. The staff were not even aware of their own menu and what each dessert should look or contain. Very disappointed in service and product. Especially the kids as they were very disappointed with their dessert. If the staff had been apologetic and made an effort to rectify the dessert the experience wouldn’t have been that bad but it just ruined our visit and most definitely wouldn’t come again. It’s a shame and would advise staff need more training on their customer service.

I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding the unacceptable level of service I recently experienced at your establishment.

On 12.09.2024, I ordered dessert which took over an hour to arrive. When it finally did, it was freezing cold. The staff then redid the order, but this also took over an hour to arrive. Throughout this time, the staff repeatedly apologised but the situation did not improve.

When I asked for the manager’s name, the staff member was unable to provide it and continued to simply apologise. I then asked if there were any other staff I could speak with. At first I was told no, but a kitchen staff member later came to the line, mentioned there was a supervisor, and then abruptly hung up the call.

This experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Long delays, poor food quality, lack of accountability, and dismissive communication are unacceptable for any establishment.

I request a formal response from management addressing: Why the delays occurred. Why the dessert was served cold. Why staff were unable (or unwilling) to provide management details. What steps will be taken to ensure this does not happen again.

I also expect appropriate compensation for the poor service and the significant inconvenience caused.

I look forward to your prompt...
