I recently dined at the this wonderful restaurant, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. From start to finish, it was a culinary journey that left me completely satisfied. Here are some reasons why I'd give it 5 stars:
Authentic Flavors: The dishes at the restaurant were incredibly authentic, reminding me of the flavors I've savored during my travels in Iraq. The use of traditional spices and ingredients truly captured the essence of Iraqi cuisine.
Warm Hospitality: The staff was welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. They were eager to share their knowledge about the menu and were more than happy to accommodate dietary preferences.
Variety of Dishes: The menu offered a diverse selection of Iraqi dishes, ranging from kebabs to stews and biryanis. There was something to satisfy every palate, and each dish was prepared with care and precision.

Read moreMust have been here years before they shut over the Covid lockdown period even went to get food during this time however the place even if busy is cheap and cheerful. The gripe I have is the price to pprtion size is slowly diminishing and becoming less value for money. I often find that ribs are never available when i go or certain sides are not made or available. They often also overcook the chops or grilled items. Service is inconsistent, as sometimes they demand you sit and wait for a waiter... Could be ages.. or you pay and order at the desk and you wait less time.
The toilets are slippery when wet which is often and the water in the taps are never warm sp id say this is a bit of a health and safety issue... You are supposed to wash hands in warm water...
There is a paid carpark to the rear and a ramp inside but this is useless if yhere are steps you have to tackle before entering or leaving... not great for those with mobility issues.
Often get those living on the streets begging for money in the carpark so be warned. £1.10 to park for up to £2 hours which...
Read moreSTAY AWAY IF YOU WANT MIDDLE EASTERN FOOD. This place is a embarrassment to the food industry. First of all please do not compare yourself to Middle Eastern food, this is far from it. I am Arab and never ever seen or tasted something so plain. I mean come on not even salt. I was served lamb that was cold the salad looked like it was dying. The portions are a joke. The guy infront of me asked for extra salad as he had around 12 meals the guy with a attitude behind the counter who acted like a near enough headless chicken told him I gave you salad why you going to waste it. The guy that thought I was Pakistani and tried rushing me to give my order because there was a Kurdish national behind me. They charged me £1 for a soup see pictures and I swear on the holy Quran I did not even have a sip first. These people only look after their own people and to be honest the food was bland no taste at all I should of paid the extra and just ordered from small Heath. This is more like bland baby food. Cold lamb that...
