Sam & Harry's — Restaurant in Birmingham

Absolutely great chicken. Probably 1 of the best dixy chicken branches in the UK. Ive travelled all over UK as transport driver an eaten at many fast food and chicken joints but this takes some beating. The secret must be the special Mearz sauce dont think u can get that anywhere in the country. Have tried everything off the menu and its always great with a real fresh tasting element to it but the wraps and especially flame grilled wraps are just melt in your mouth and the chilli cheese chicken bites not seen or tasted anywhere either. Staff are always great. Plenty of seating downstairs and loads more upstairs too. Spotlessly clean and Service with a true smile especially from the guy called ross. Take note managers maybe you should give him a raise. Apparently the same owners who run this place also have 2 other places, 1 in erdington and 1 in birmingham city centre so if this high standard is anything to go by then they are definitely worth a visit if you cant make it here. Don't waste your money! Got all of our orders wrong, food was late, cold and burnt. The half pounder I ordered arrived with 1 burnt cold patty, no lettuce, no cheese, no sauce and dry buns. The cold fries seemed like they were re-fried with really old oil and the rest of the burgers we ordered looked like a child had just slapped them together. I called to get my money back and even offered to return the order but was declined. The person on the phone didn't have a clue and passed me on to his manager. The manager offered to remake the order but by that point I was so put off by the service and food I received, that the chances of getting any decent meal from this place were slim. Placed an order at 1:35am. The food didn’t arrive until 3:00am. I called up at 2:40 asking where my order was, they told me the driver had just left. I live 5mins away from the shop. Being a delivery driver myself I understand times of doing more than one delivery and 20mins from the time they told me the driver had left is just wrong. When I called up I said the food will most likely be cold when it does eventually arrive, they said if it is cold, give us a call back. The food was freezing cold when it arrived. Fries was soggy and there was no sauce on my burger. Even stating what sauce I wanted on it. I didn’t call back because there ain’t no point getting them to send more food when it was like this already. Seeing that it was our first time ordering I expected it to be better. But I’m sorry it was a bag of Wack. Never ordering from here again....
