Kings Heath Quirky Comfort I love the style of the pubs in Moseley Village. The Station, located on its border carries the baton of beautiful quirky decor. Where else can you find the bust of a pink moose hung on the wall of a public house? At its heart The Station is a good old fashioned Brummie pub. The garden out back is accommodating, bright and cheerful. It was there I met a regular who swore that the Sunday Roast was out of this world. I ordered the Nut Roast. I mentioned I am a vegan. The staff accommodated and made amendments to the vegetarian offering. It was delivered up quickly. Given the extremely high standards set by eateries in Kings Heath, I was expecting THE BEST. Any other town, I would have been happy. Having visited Upstairs at Grace & James for their Sunday offering. The Stations Sunday Roast lacked the finer details to put a smile on my face. The Station offer a Vegan Dessert, the sweet Banoffee Waffle, recommended if you have a sweet tooth. All in, good value for money. Staff are salt of the earth. The period pub is beautiful. A great meeting place.

Went to The Station last night 28/01/23 to see my stepson playing guitar in a band in the function room. It’s been over 18 years since I was last in The Station and I must admit there was an absolute fantastic atmosphere. A big thank you must go to Kat for making us all feel really welcome, and it was absolutely brilliant to see the pub filled to the brim with people enjoying themselves…

An icon of the high st for many years, The Station has just got better with the arrival of Mustard, serving juicy burgers and delicious sides. We went for The Tangy One and loved it! Will be back regularly before the residency is over. The bar staff are really friendly, the beer garden is a sun trap and there always seems to be something on, creating a great atmosphere.

Great atmosphere. Good beers. A proper pub. Rock and Blues Music on Monday and Thursday evenings. And the first Friday of the month in the front saloon. Gigs on other nights. Jam Jah on Mondays 10pm until late in the back room. April 2023... Still as good as ever. June 2023. Just as great as ever. August 2023 it's the place to go. Just as good as ever. December 2023, still as good as ever. Heard a band this evening and had a Peroni! June 2024.Still as good as ever. Good range of beers. They have guest draft beers available, expertly served by the lovely bar staff. Blues Clubs on Monday and Thursdays. Jam Jah club on Mondays. A great place to go. It's now March 2025, and there are loads of events going on other nights as well as the blues clubs. The Station is a great place to go. Good beers, great service and GREAT ATMOSPHERE!!! A real pub. Great as ever in May 2025. Great as ever in late July 2025. As good as ever in...

There is live music here most days of the week. There is a back room too which hosts music and private events. The beer garden is nice and up some stairs through the pub. They have a few open mic and themed events throughout the year also. I'd love to love this pub more. It's in such a great location and they do so much but there's something about the atmosphere. You never feel welcome, the ownership has changed so many times in the last decade and it's always slightly over priced for what it is. If they lit the fire and had amazing welcoming staff and a more community feel then charging almost £4.50 a pint...
