SOHO Coffee Fosse Park — Restaurant in Blaby

First visit to this store , I have visited the high cross store previously and thought it’s nice in there so I tried this store. Staff seem to be not trained that great here and there doesn’t seem a great staff chemistry between each other.

Hygiene - Staff was coughing in the food area quite frequently which I don’t need to explain is not very hygienic.

I was given a dirty drinks tray for my napkins and cutlery when I didn’t need a tray anyway.

Staff were not wearing a hair covering when they are making food . Also no use of gloves when putting fingers into potatoes.

Food - The food we ordered was not worth the money and very underwhelming, I asked for beans to add to my jacket potato but wasn’t told the potato already has a vegan chilli which has beans and sauce already.. so that was not needed. The potato was not giant either. I asked to add oil to the vegan jacket potato but they didn’t bother to ask or check if it’s vegan.

Maybe they should scrap these potatoes off the menu or reduce the price to what they are worth. Or if they are charging this price atleast add something to it which makes it fancier and worth the price. The chilli would be great with a vegan mince added to it.

Had a really frustrating experience at Fosse Park today went Nandos instead. Waiting to be served 3 staff behind counter, first in queue so nobody in front of me stood there a good while still no acknowledgement. Then 2 persons already seated were told to come back and order and pay for their baked potatoes so basically pushed in front of us faffing over payment. I am still patiently waiting for basic acknowledgement of my existence from one of the 3 staff members.Finally an acknowledgement my turn to order 2 drinks 2 potatoes to be told a 15min wait for potatoes. So basically those potatoes would of been ours. We declined to wait 15 mins and went elsewhere. Wasn't even the fact that we had to wait for potatoes, was just standing there being ignored and had to make way for others. Why not even give a shout out to those waiting in queue Anyone wanting to order potatoes its a 15min wait instead of keeping us standing there for no reason wasting my time.I always go to the High Cross shop when I'm in Leicester they are fabulous in there won't bother with Fosse park shop again. Constant laziness and insolence of staff is a reason for this review. Sorry. Even though the opening hours on google maps still showing open till 7pm on Sunday the staff don’t hesitate to inform me for who knows which time that “they’re closed already” and it doesn’t matter if this is 4.30pm. I was trying many times before 5pm (as once I was advised by a member of staff that this is actual closing hour)to be served there and I was not… again with the same explanation. Getting into the shop to see emptiness and all food packed into bags and fridge just after 4pm it’s just a joke from a customer. For staff it’s already normal to say that they’re closed before closing time, the fact that clock is showing you that the shop is STILL OPEN for (for example) 20 minutes it’s imagination only probably or just your misunderstanding of...
