Absolute shambles. I only ever tend to review if positive but this place is so useless that it warrants a review.

The 1st time the Drive Thru queue was so long, you couldn't get parked or unparked, a total lack of thought in the design if there are more than 10 cars. Going inside, the wait time for food was 10 minutes, OK, but it wasn't particularly busy inside. The food was awful (only had breakfast at the one in town before), burger had hard gristle bits in it, the lattice Fries were greasy and soggy, the hotdog was hard and really not very pleasant, chicken tenders were just like soft cheap soggy chicken dippers, but all of it was pretty expensive given the quality. Also, they forgot to put the burger in the bag, so had to go back (luckily checked before leaving).
2nd time, ordered breakfast inside, 20 minute wait and what looked like total chaos in the kitchen! Breakfast and coffee was pretty good but there were flies all over the doughnuts which, even though I didn't have any was fairly off-putting!
Been through the Drive Thru just now (about 8 cars so thought it would be ok), 25 minutes wait (possibly more!), for 3 coffees, then no lids so the coffee was impossible to keep in the cup on the drive home.
Just utter chaos, don't bother as the food is pretty low grade and not particularly good value unless you get a breakfast meal... coffee great but I really fail to grasp how they can be so slow and disorganised when the place has supposedly been designed to be a fast food / drive through.
Sorry, a rant I know, and I wanted it to be good but...
Read moreWent here as a rendezvous with a family friend. We didn't choose the venue, but have had coffee from the Derby branch in the past.
This one, although recently opened feels like it is overused and unmaintained.
The food was fine, I had the tuna toasted sandwich meal. As mentioned in other reviews, the pricing is a con. I ordered a coffee with the meal and it jumped £1.50. That is misrepresentation if I have ever seen it. I didn't suffer the warm food issue that others had, and quite liked the lattice fries and toastie.
The place was dirty, so much that we had to clean it ourselves before eating. We had kids that as they do, put their hands down the side of the sofa and found so much old food and debris. We had to wash their hands several times whilst eating.
Then there are the toilets. I had to use the baby changing facility, which was OK, but so unmaintained that I hurt my finger whilst trying to open it. The toilets were so unclean, no soap in any of the dispensers and wet everywhere. Driers so poor, but no backup tissue either. Had to use the toilet roll that is rolled up when dispensed so hard to use.
One good point was that unlike everywhere else, sanitiser is as a plenty and working and topped up, but this may be the case as its easier than cleaning the toilets...
Staff spoke little English and were more interested in answering their phones than serving.
Overall, I would go to Tim Horton again, but not...
Read moreThis is a review for Tim Horton's at Fosse Park. First off it needs to be said the price for a meal option is a tad misleading - don’t expect the price to remain the same as the advertised one, as the price of the drink isn’t really included, unless you pick the “cheap one” (basically a bottle of Coke) amongst the numerous beverages which all have additional inflated prices. So beware. I ordered their Bacon Double Burger and was severely let down. First off the bacon was barely cooked, two fatty white looking streaks. Disgusting. The bun was fine though with a good Ketchup/Mustard ratio (more on that in a minute). Two pieces of raw white onion and two pieces of cheese. Okay. As for the main event, the beef patty, I honestly cannot remember a time when I was served a more pathetic specimen. Pale looking with lumps of gristle with the same taste and texture of a low end supermarket budget burger. Honestly I couldn’t finish it. Most of it ended up with my mother in laws cat, who in fairness did seem to enjoy it. The accompanying lattice fries were okay though, but nothing special. The only thing I did actually enjoy was their ketchup which hands down is the best ketchup I have ever tried. Maybe I came on an off-day, who knows, but I won’t be rushing back anytime soon. Very disappointing and...
