VEGETARIANS BEWARE.
Other half is a vegetarian, ordered 2 bbq quorn chicken and pineapple pizzas. Pizzas arrived and my other half took a bite into it to find with absolute horror that she had just bitten into a pizza stuffed full of real chicken. This was deeply upsetting and distressing for her, much the same as anyone who has specific eating choices would be extremely distressed to find out that they had just been given something to eat that they choose not to, for example a vegan or person who eats a halal diet ordering a dish that is “safe” to find it has been laced with bacon fat. We called and were rather casually told that yes they had used real chicken because they had run out of quorn (perhaps they thought that we wouldn’t be able to tell the difference?) We were offered a different pizza or 30% off our next order. Due to the severe upset inflicted upon my partner we said that we wanted a full refund. They had no quorn anyway to replace the pizzas with, even if they had we wouldn’t want it after what had happened, and given the severity of what they had done still expecting to retain our money and giving 30 % off our next order is nothing short of an insult. We got told the manager wasn’t answering his phone and they would call us back. They called back saying that they had found some quorn (this we find to be quite interesting, as given they had it all along what was the reason for not using it? It’s highly unlikely some appeared by way of a miracle after us being told categorically that they did not have any, and it is just as unlikely that they didn’t know they had it if it was there) The manager had said we could have two new pizzas but if we wanted a refund we would have to contact head office as they don’t issue them from in branch, yet another interesting statement. Appalling service and utterly disgraceful, shameful, lack of respect towards their vegetarian customers. Absolutely shocked and appalled by both what has happened, and how they have handled it. Read moreI actually picked up 1 large and 2 medium pizzas and a portion of there hot wings, the pizzas wern't even the usual deep pan but more stonebaked and I don't know how It's even possible as they go in one end of the oven and comes out the other but they managed to burn and overcook them and the wings were just overcooked.
So I complained and they tried telling me that I didn't place an order over the phone as there was no record of it on the ordering system, so I said if I printed out my calls record what would you say then, there reply was calling the shop is not proof of ordeing anything hey there words not mine. I did say so I'm guessing if you actually checked your CCTV then that wouldn't show I was picking up my order I'm guessing I just wanted to smell the Pizzas being cooked.
I reminded them that for a few more pounds I could get a reliable Domino's or Pizza hut pizza, and for the same money in Bletchley there is charity shops and then there are pizza and kebab shops. So I said you keep the money you must need it more than I do, and that I only went to your shop 3 times for pizza and 2 times for the chinese in 20 years so I won't miss it. Believe it or not even though they both end GoGo and use the same front door, this woman tried telling me that they don't share a shop with a chinese I said your talking rubbish look online if you don't believe me. We have order online and paid via website and we were waiting since long to get pizza ( approx more than hour).delivery driver did not come to the door and return to the office. When we called to office and the Saif who is the manager of that store , he said we did not want to deliver at your door step because of I was chasing for order( there is no application no order tracking system if you will order online )
When I asked for refund he said you will get within 24 hours but still not received. Afterword I went to their office and he was very rude and no manners to talk with customer.
