Frankie & Benny's — Restaurant in Borough of Spelthorne

Me and my girlfriend arrived at about 6:15pm on Boxing Day; the reception was empty (we waited a few minutes to be seated since the moment I walked in the bar to call someone for help) we were given a small table (usually when the restaurant Is empty large tables are offered as it happens in your restaurant in Harrow on the hill where I never had a problem and food and service are amazing) a waiter came to pick up our order (two cocktails: "ps I love you"; a bottle of the most expensive white wine : Gavi; bruschetta; a black and blue burger (which came without onion rings somehow ..) a large bottle of sparkling water and at the end a dessert (sorbetto)

Here s the sequence

An Italian waiter took the order An Asian waiter came to drop the bruschetta after 5 minutes this has cold mozzarella and was never heated. Tasted really funny but I had it I was hungry After a minute the same waiter came to drop the burger without onion rings I told them to please bring water and wine and FORGET about the cocktails (maybe none of the staff has ever been to the states where having a cocktail before your lunch or dinner is part of it..)

The food was cold, my black and blue burger was missing onion rings, after I complained the table had a complete lack of service from that moment (as if I had to apologise for the restaurant to be short staffed and unable to cope with a party of 12 and another table with an adult and three kids which makes three tables in the whole restaurant)

I feel stolen of the 42 pound I paid because of the poor service, poor quality food and the fact that is ridiculous to be in a restaurant where you can't actually see a waiter unless you call him and leave alone like is your house

We left the restaurant walking through and no one came to say good buy (which gave such an idea of how unwelcome we were)

Please note that I am not a person that likes complaining about, but this becomes really a one off as I never felt so humiliated and upset...

The worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant.

Once we were seated and deciding on food, the waiter Bruno came over and asked what we would like to eat, before I could even say what I would like he closed my menu for me and took it off me and said “ladies first” That was incredibly rude. Now I’m all about respect and chivalry but i found it quite sexist of him to do that when he had no idea how my partner and I are together.

We then proceeded to wait around 15 minutes before our jug of water arrived, in which Bruno poured out the water messily into the glasses and almost slammed it down on the table on my side, spilling some water.

Around 30 minutes later the food arrived, the pizza was not the size I ordered and my partners mac and cheese was burnt. Clearly there was no care taken into making our food. The milkshakes were basically chocolate water.

Whilst we were still eating, Bruno took away our plates which still had food we were indulging in. We hadn’t finished and he took it away.

Bruno also took it upon himself to say “you don’t have to lie to me if you don’t like the food” which I also found quite rude.

Bruno’s presence and lack of respect for personal space made both my partner and myself very uncomfortable as he was far too close to us when wanting to pay the bill.

I shall not be coming back to this establishment as the service was appalling, Bruno was incredibly rude, and the food was seriously not worth the...

Worst f&b's we've been to, after a long day at legoland we came here with the kids for dinner as we have vip kids passes that we bought from another f&b's in april. Asked for a fruit punch with no ice, came with ice. Waiter was slow and abrupt, apart from when we had almost finished our meal at which point he got rather chatty. Surprise! When we pointed out one of the kid's meals should have been free as we bought it with a main he said the manager would do it as a good will gesture? Simple task to read the back of the vip pass, which he clearly didn't do as he also tried to keep the passes which are valid for another 8 months yet. Our next trip that way will not be including that place! We also ordered a fruit crumble with custard, which came out luke warm and a peanut butter cheesecake with peanut butter ice cream, which was actually a chocolate cheesecake with nuts on top and vanilla ice...
