The Hare & Hounds Sunbury on Thames — Restaurant in Borough of Spelthorne

So I was sitting in the pub tonight with my girlfriend and my best mate. My girlfriend has been at work all day and decided to take a nap on my shoulder. She continued to nap for a while and that's when my best firend asked my togo outside with her for a cigarette. I said I would and I left my jacket and rested my girlfriends head on my jacket. I hid my girlfriends bag under her chair out of view I knew she was in view of the bar staff so I thought she would be fine. I then come back After less than 5 minutes of smoking in the garden with my friends ( it is about 2 degrees out) . This is when I walk in and the lady who's tending the bar has a go at me and stars stating that you can't leave a woman asleep in a bar and that I should look after my girlfriend more (bare in mind I was looking through the window to check up on my gf the whole time ) . The lady at the bar contained to get angry at me and say I wasn't a nice person / guy. Bar staff are rude and I wouldn't suggest...

My partner and myself held a joint 24th party in the private function room with about 50 people that attended. We chose this venue as we are locals and somewhat of regulars. Donald and the staff were amazing!! Special shout-out to Stuart for the recommendation on ‘easy’ shots. Donald made the planning process so effortless - there were no hidden terms and no booking fee, there was just a minimum spend which was easily met due to the volume of people we had. On the day the staff were so helpful in making sure everything was set before people started to turn up. We didn’t need to plan a playlist as Donald was very generous in allowing my guests and I to write down any requests that were played through the built in speakers at the pub. My only wish was that the night could have gone one longer, haha. I honestly can’t thank Donald and the staff enough for the experience, we will definitely be recommending this place and continue...

We have been coming to Hare & Hounds for over 10 years and, although we’ve enjoyed many afternoons, evenings and nights here, recently I have been so blown away by the friendly staff and brilliant customer service we receive that I need to give a positive review. Kirsty and Shannon are so attentive and really go the extra mile to make this family friendly pub the place it is. All of the team go out of their way to look after everyone that walks through the doors; they gave our dog a bowl of water when it was a hot day without us asking, this was so kind and so appreciated. A brilliant selection of drinks, a lovely well beer garden with table tennis, spotless and well maintained toilets, various options for seating, comfy quiet spaces aswell as high tables and chairs in the bar area.
