Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Borough of Spelthorne

So firstly to say the staff here are great - very friendly & always welcomed with a smile. HOWEVER - the greed from the franchise owner is outrageous. Today I was told they've increased their prices again (3rd time in just over a year). So last summer an oat flat white was £3.35, then they upped it to £3.60. Then in May this year they again increased this to £3.80 (this is the territory of independent specialty coffee in Central London), and this morning when I ordered was told they'd upped it again to £4! Real shame to have to go elsewhere now as the staff are lovely, but £4 for a mass produced flat white coffee in Ashford High...

Really bad experience today!! There was a huge que, the poor two employees working kept apologizing to the costumers saying they don't have clean dishes as there's no one to wash it. Everything was being served on take away cups, the dishes were piling up at the tables. Very dirty floor, almost all the lights above the counter were broken. We asked for the manager and we were told that the manager isn't around and they don't no where she is!! Very bad management. How is it possible to turn your back to the store when you don't have...

Strangely there are two Costa's in this high street. I got the feeling that this one is independently owned or whatever it is that they do. This was because of the great service, very welcoming. I needed somewhere to sit for a couple of hours and prepare for a meeting.
