The Kings Arms — Restaurant in Borough of Wyre

Disgraceful Language from the Landlady. Called in for a pint last night on my way through town, it was fairly busy with the football on. Noticed the staff constantly asking a particular group of lads for ID which I understand, but what I can’t abide is listening to the kind of language this landlady was dishing out. Calling people C**TS and all sorts it’s was a step too far considering they hadn’t seemed to cause any issues beforehand but then obviously reacted to her bad language. The way this was handled by staff was wrong. I’ve been a DJ in pubs for years and I’ve seen so much in my time but to hear a woman speak like that out of nowhere was disgraceful. Wont be in a rush to call in again.

The Kings...

We went in the Royal Oak for a meal the other afternoon looked on the menu and it had my favourite meal Cheese and Onion Pie with home made chips so that's what I ordered, the meal arrived very large pie so cut into the pie to be very very disappointed pastry was soggy and full of mashed potato couldn't find any Onion or cheese, I think this is what they call misrepresentation the menu should have said mashed potato pie I left the meal without paying for it never to return again, I am just wondering if the local trading standards knows what's going on at...

Really good pub for watching Football...We have visited a few times while staying at Guys Thatched Hamlet... Garstang village is such a lovely little place and well worth a trip....this pub is a particular favourite and the locals are very welcoming unlike some other villages I have visited.Well worth a stop off if you are in the area. A little mention has to go to how spotlessly clean the ladies toilets are...I know it's a strange comment but I am always happy to go to a freshly...
