BVRGRY — Restaurant in Bradford

Let me start by saying this establishment has the potential to compete with the top of the top food chains (e.g. Five Guys). It is hands down one of the best burger joints in the whole of West Yorkshire. Nothing and I mean nothing reaches their level. I ordered the double smash burger and it blew me away with the first bite. The meat was very high quality and melted in your mouth along with the other components that made up this burger. Every taste was packed full of flavour. The meat was moist and the cheese was gooey, just what you would expect with a smash burger. The fries were crunchy and crispy, and complimented the burger very nicely. They drizzle some type of herb onto the fries to uplift some extra flavour. Something I found unique and different.

The sweet BBQ wings were possibly the best wings I’ve ever had. They were sticky and saucy, and were worth getting your hands messy with. The wings were very tender and fell straight of the bone with every bite. Each wing was coated in their special sauce and topped with sesame seeds for some extra flavour. The sweet bbq sauce had a tangy goodness to it. And the whole wing itself had a good caramelised appeal to it.

The service and hospitality was spot on. I had 2 ladies at the front take my order and they were very polite and knew exactly what they were doing. The food took roughly 8-10 minutes and was piping hot. Honestly this is probably the best burger joints I’ve ever visited. I would highly recommend trying this place as your standards will change. First and last time I'll be going to BVRGRY. Me and my friend decided to go here to have Sehri after he saw an Instagram video. We was really disappointed in the service and the food. We had to chase up our order after waiting over an hour. Meanwhile other customers who had come after us, got served and left before we even got our food. When the food did arrive, we didn't get what we ordered, on top of that, the food was barely warm. When we enquired about the food (we ordered the Suhoor Box), they apologised and gave us an excuse that they had ran out of bagel and so we was given 2 egg muffin and for whatever reason we had 2 fish fingers instead of a waffle. Fish fingers for breakfast!? Why not another sausage instead? Like I said the food was barely warm, it seemed like it was reheated food that was made earlier, the sausage was dry and so was the fish fingers, lol. They offered £5 back as an apology, we kindly told them to donate to charity instead. Wish I took some pictures of what we received, so I could've posted on here, but we were so underwhelmed with what we received and so disappointed in every else, we just wanted to eat something before Sehri ended and go home. It's important to understand the reality of fast food rocking up in a car to collect greasy takeaways businesses like this.

Customers of this business heavily litter the surrounding streets - about the only thing it is 'high end' at. People living in the area are sick and tired of rats running around. Some contractors working in the area told the neighbourhood about rats bringing sauce pots from these takeaways back to their nests 🤢. In at least one of the images you can see a sauce pot. Discarded bags contain food waste - all easily identifiable as coming from this business thanks to the logo on the bag. One customer was so thick she left the Uber order label on the bag. Fast and unhealthy food and it looks unappetising - especially the discarded stuff 🤢. Not a welcome addition to the local environment. We dont need these sorts of businesses in Bradford. Walkable shops and civilised customers would be more welcome. People need to think about impacts on environments from selfish customers and unhealthy fast food. All round environmental and health disaster.
