Istanbul Shawarma — Restaurant in Bradford

Didn't know that something simple as chicken meat witch chips can be as good as this one here. One complain though.... Shut the flipping doors will ya? 🤦🤣

It was after 7pm whrn we get there and after ordering went to sit down. And it wasn't warmest place ever. That's the complain and even that doesn't change scoring.

Food, because we're here for it. Plate was massive and full of it. Starting with salad and you can say straight away it's fresh. And honestly? Take a look at salads you've been served in many other places. It's starting to loose colour, shaoe, flavour. You know this is budget salad from last night. Probably even older. And you still being served with it.

Red beet! Sorry but why on earth there's not that many places serving it? In any shape or form. It's healthy, tasty, full of flavour and body. Having beet root on mt plate always brings a smile. And that's something you can't put a price tag on.

There also was bit of spicy paste and humus. Simple additions that give extra zing to palet of flavours. Belive me it's just keep coming. Then we've got mint sauce. Home made as you can see by pieces of mint flowing inside, not being distributed perfectly like you'll had from mass production. And again, full of body and flavour. Just right.

Chimken and chips. Best chips i ever had in my lifetime comes from Crispy Cod in New Mills. The end! Period! Finito! Basta! I'll fight untill the last breath arguing that this are the best ever. Those ones? They are bloody close. So close that i need to rethink it all over.

And then there's the mean. Since it's got to be Halal food, chicken it is. And lord have mercy how lovely spiced it is. On the edge of well done and crispy, cut in nice chunks, this is really great feast to have on plate. Haven't had chimken with chips for months now, if not year and more. Thisnone was really great and it was shame it ended up after about 20 minutes.

Lamb shawarma was good had nice flavour to it chicken however was dry but ok, place was tight had to squeeze past people while they were eating as walking space is limited service guys were good but lacking basic english which isnt good for a busy resturant but guys atleast tried, didnt understand the concept of ordering food on 2 seperate counters kids had to ordered at another counter with 2 payments normal resturants take a full order on one till with whole amount paid on same ticket so mayby they need to check this, kids food arrived before ours did had a call servers twice to check where rest of our food was finally arrived 40mins after ordering they were busy though but am sure you are meant to be working on which ticket comes 1st basis, place is good though nice decor, clean tables etc, place is good saw afew families but mostly eastern european males who kept staring at a table of girls who were trying to have thier lunch which i found disrepectable parking is dubious limited space and across road think its paid parking overall ok for a quick bite but there are other better sharwarma places in my opinion and think place is going to be hub for eastern eurpean men just to sit and stare at girls so will be avoiding...

I dined here this week and, overall, the food was delicious. However, I unfortunately experienced a serious issue with the ayran I ordered. It turned out to be expired, and I subsequently suffered from food poisoning.

The symptoms were quite unpleasant, significantly disrupting my day-to-day life. While I appreciate the quality of the other dishes, serving expired products is a major concern. Given the circumstances and the impact on my health and daily routine, I believe it's appropriate to request compensation, specifically a refund for my meal.

I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and improves its quality control to prevent similar incidents in the future. I would consider returning if I could be assured that the food and beverages served are...
