Shambles. We went Friday night it was pretty busy got there around 7pm and was seated and placed order for 8pm. Starters around 8.45pm and mains at 10pm. We were a group of 17 so we ordered quite a variety from the menu. Starters were very good. Main courses not so. We ordered two steaks t-bone which we wanted medium rare and sirloin well done. They cooked them the wrong way round. When we asked Asif the waiter he disappeared into the kitchen, maybe he thought the answer was in the kitchen and not on our plates? The chicken in our pasta went AWOL. Luckily Asif found it before he went AWOL. The curries are drenched in oil. At some point i was expecting George W Bush to turn up to deliver some democracy. Don't get me started on the manager, he seemed more flustered than all the inexperienced waiters on display. When we complained about the wait and incorrect order, he clearly said il knock it off the bill. Then backtracked when we were paying our bill. The excuse was the boss (who is the chef) said to only knock 25% off the total of the 3 dishes. Then apologised and said it's opening weekend, you know how it Is. Well not really. You have several established branches so inexperience isn't a valid excuse. Your opening in a prime spot next to akbars. To be fair we should have gone there. The whole outfit are Headless chickens,To call yourself a steak house and have only 4 steaks on menu? When you order a steak they cook it wrong and serve something close to resembling charcoal and call it mushroom. Every time something goes wrong they run in to the kitchen seeking approval from the chef? The funniest thing was when we were leaving, I overheard one suited gentleman telling another to keep control of staff. So he walked over in front of customers clapping come on guys what are you doing, if you're not doing anything back on floor. So Mr alleged manager wearing a nice suit and thinking you're Marino from Hells kitchen just doesn't cut it. In summary won't...

FIRSTLY, thank you eastZeast Restaurant for being open on EID day.
Our reservation was telephonically booked 2 hours in advance; waiting time was between 10 - 15 mins.
Customer service: Overall, it was unwelcoming; no kindness, no courtesy or smile; lack of coordination; lack of supervision; lack of waiters. One of our waiter was kind and humble, but others brought wrong drink; nearly smashed my plate on the table; never served us mango chutney but we were charged for it. Management need to polish their leadership skills and retrain their staff for effective customer service.
ORDER: For prawns briyani, mix grilled platter, strawberry daquiri and diet coke - Bill was £39.90 for 2 people. Waiting time for our food was appx 25 to 30 mins.
Food: on a scale of 10, i would rate the food I had eaten as 4.5/10. I had ordered prawns briyani, but found 2 slices of eggs inside my briyani - and the combination of egg and prawns trigger allergic reaction on my skin. I had to discard the eggs. As a briyani fanatic (hydrebadi/Sindhi/dum briyani) , and for £15 i felt the portion was less. For £8/£9 Shimlas and my lahore give bigger portion.
Atnosphere: The decore is eye-catching Ambience is good. But, few families who were sat behind us were burping aloud, making farting sound and swearing at each other. And, that was disgusting and impolite. Maybe a polite notice to everyone to respect other guest's privacy could be an option.
A lot can be done to improve this restaurant. I AM NOT SURE IF I WILL REVISIT THIS PLACE but, as we are all different, you could give this place one chance and experience the positive and negative traits of this restaurant by yourself. ☺️
Thank you for your services eastZeast Restaurant. With the right management, employees, food, customer service and procedures, you could...
Read moreI went to the restaurant with my mother wife and kids. Ordered my food and a takeout for when I leave. The service was poor had to wait a hour after my starters for the mains to come out. Once done I asked for the waiter to pack the left overs because after waiting so long just couldn’t eat the mains also asked to get the takeout packed and ready. I was given a bag with the mains packed but no takeout dish in there. I realised this when dropping my mum off home because it was for her. The next day I went back to the restaurant to enquire about this I was told to come back the next day because they were busy. I said I can’t and asked for the menu so I could work out if I was charged for something I didn’t get. Whilst writing the order down The manager and guy at the till who took my money for the meal come and said we didn’t charge you for the takeout. I left trusting what they said when I got to my car I looked at the paper on which I wrote my order and the prices. I added the order up and it come to £20 less then what I paid so I go back to the restaurant and ask for the bill. I wasn’t showed the bill I was told everyone is busy. I then bump into the waiter who took my order and he confirmed he did take my takeout order and I was charged for it. The managers at this point didn’t know where to put their faces. I was told they have gas and lighting problem and they took my number promising me a call back. At no point did anyone give me a call, refund of the amount incorrectly charged or give me the food I paid for. I left and emailed the head office asking for my money back which I was wrongly charged. The head office ignored my complaint email. THIS PLACE IS A DISGRACE, THEY ARE THEIVES, THE SERVICE IS APPAULING AND DEGRADING. MOST IMPORTANTLY CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE YOU PAY BECAUSE THEY OVERCHARGED ME AND WOULD HAVE...
