Called in for Lunch Friday lunchtime. Hadn’t booked ahead but had a perfect table for 4 available under the window. A friendly welcome and drinks order taken promptly. A straightforward menu with plenty of choice. We ordered: Scampi and Chips, Steak and Ale Pie with Chips, Roast Beef Sandwich with Fries and I ordered Liver and Onions with Buttery mashed potatoes. The place was starting to get busy with people dropping in for Lunch but we didn’t have to wait too long for our food to arrive. Each dish came with vegetables or salad and the Steak Pie and Liver and Onions came with a delicious Ox gravy.

The food was incredible. the Haworth gins are amazing especially teamed up with their own tonics, they compliment each other so well. The toffee gin matched with sour bramley apple tonic is like liquid bonfire night. The blackjack gin is like liquid blackjack sweets so no jaw lock. So looking forward to trying the other flavours.

This small brewhouse and restaurant is situated in the heart of the lovely village of Haworth and is cosy warm and inviting, The food was tasty and the staff were very attentive , ideal for a pint of locally brewed ale or an array of local Gins served in lovely glasses, The micro pub is also dog friendly. And spotlessly clean.

The food here you can't fault it's lovely so whoever the chef is - hats off to them! The only reason this has been given a 3 star review is because a lady who served us recently really could do with some training I'm afraid to say. We ordered drinks and we could see them on the bar, but she was too busy talking to a customer , eventually we did get our drinks. When we asked for the bill she just brought the card machine directly to the table and told us how much the bill was , to which we told her we wanted to see the bill. She seemed quite "put out" that we asked for an itemised bill. Apart from this like I said earlier the food is fantastic & great...

My wife and I recently visited The Steam Brewing Co for a meal during a recent trip to Howarth. What a fantastic meal we had. I had the lamb kebab with spiced onions and my wife the garlic mushrooms to start. And for our mains, we both had the lamb shank. We didn't have a dessert as we were too full, so can't comment on those. But the ales I had, the cider my wife had, the service and atmosphere, made for a brilliant evening. If you want somewhere to eat in Howarth, you won't be disappointed with the Steam Brewing Co. But make sure to book,as they turned people away while we...
