The Hockney — Restaurant in Bradford

The bouncers on the door and smashed window was a bit unsettling, and my feet stuck to the wooden floor as I walked towards the bar.

The whole place seems stuck in the late 90s with outdated decor and strangely the lingering smell of stale smoke in the air. I'm not sure why it's called The Hockney as the only thing that I can see referencing David Hockney is the sign outside. And I presume if ask the regulars about Hockney they'd probably tell you it was a medical condition to do with the kneecap.

Regardless of this, drinks are cheap - but don't expect much past the usual swill water largers - and I didn't get glassed, so it has that going for...
