808 Bristol — Restaurant in Bristol

Great little find for us on our many trips to St Mike's/BRI. Saturday morning coffee and brunch was fantastic, a gorgeous toasted aubergine roll for me which was juicy with a tad of heat and the most incredible banana bread, yoghurt, home made strawberry conserve, seeds and blueberry concoction that I wish I'd had as well. Sooooooo delicious and healthy! The place has a great vibe and decorated brilliantly. And, an important point for me, everything was spotless... the glasses, the cutlery - a rarity these days! Kitchen is only open week days but they make it up for it on weekends with food like that! Defo...

Really friendly waitstaff, the mushroom-cheese toasty I got was so tasty! I got a peanut butter-chocolate chip cookie was dry and hard, not too good. But otherwise, great!

P.S. In response to comment, I ordered takeaway so couldn't give feedback in person :) Let's just say the cookie was tougher than others I've tried - would've been nice to have some chewiness to it. And of course, I wouldn't expect it...

Amazing cafe/ bar in the centre of Bristol, the cafe is friendly and has great coffee and really tasty food, and on Friday nights the place turns into a bar with cocktails and awesome tunes!
