Went for a bubble tea outing with a friend. I'm new to bubble tea, so I was open to trying something different. They have a self-service ordering point, which is convenient—but also a bit limiting if you're unfamiliar with the menu. Since there’s no one to ask for recommendations or explain the options, it can feel a bit overwhelming for first-timers.

I ended up ordering the mango tea with black tea, mango popping pearls, and an orange fruit mix. The machine only gave the option for “with fruit” or “no fruit,” but didn’t specify which fruit would be included, which was a bit confusing.

Unfortunately, the drink wasn't to my taste—I could barely finish a few sips. That said, the portion size was generous and the pricing seemed fair.

Overall, I’d suggest having a staff member at the till to help guide new customers through the options. It would make the experience much more welcoming for those trying bubble tea for the first time. But it was really clean,...

Went after 6 months to chattime and I have to say it was awful experience I asked for a milk tea with tapioca or pearls the girl at counter said we don’t have any try something different. I added pudding via her recommendation. A few mins later she gave me my drink and at the same time took another persons order they both ordered been sugar with peals ! I went back and asked for pearls instead of the pudding as she had literally just made my drink and all she had to do was add pearls but she kept saying I had to pay extra I asked why as it was her fault in the first place for not saying if I waited 5 mins I could have the peals . It’s more about the principle not the money as For the sake of 35p she made me feel like I had a terrible service the drink was disgusting mostly milk hardly any tea flavour.Although it has nothing seating area not I will not be visiting this place again as the menu is standard tea tastes awful and service...

I’m so disappointed.

My friends and I decided to head to chatime for a nice catchup but were rudely rushed out before we even ordered. We came in and decided to grab a table so we’d have somewhere to spend our time, while sitting and talking we were also looking at the menu discussing what we were going to get when a member of staff came over and said we had to leave because we can’t sit in if we aren’t buying. This was delivered with such an attitude the three of us looked at her in shock and collectively said ‘okay’ grabbed our stuff and got out. This was so upsetting as it felt like we were on a time limit when we were just enjoying being in the store. Sadly can’t rate the food or drinks because we didn’t get a chance to try it.
