Divino Deli — Restaurant in Bristol

Great sandwiches,made with fresh ingredients. However, we visited during lunch time (12:30) and they have only had 5 sandwiches left to choose from. When checking their menu online, I have been appealed by the different choices and there was no information on the menu about limited choices on the spot due to availability. It seemed like you can walk in and order to make but this was not the case and the lady serving us was not the nicest when I mentioned all other choices on their menu. As a result we have only ordered one sandwich because all the ones left were not within our liking. We drove there for 20mins as the choices and reviews were appealing but got a bit disappointed once we got there and seen 5 sandwiches left.

Also this is not a restaurant but a Deli so no sitting area or...

Essence of Italia on our door step in Clifton, Bristol just off Blackboy hill 'Divino Deli'. With unusual Italian products and the brands I am familiar with which are quality food items, drinks and choice of wine, birra now. Fab coffee black Americano no milk or espresso, latte, mocha or flavoured teas. All made to order 'the proper Italian way'. I have been shopping there since a week after they opened - I LOVE going, it is like visiting a real Italian shop, as I remember them. I invariably get greeted with a smile and a "benvenuto", Francesco and Francesca are always cheerful no matter how busy they are,I don't know how they manage it. And the products...ah the products, they are fantastic, and keep getting better. Wonderful pecorino cheeses,and lots of others, some quite unusual, great selection of salami, sandwiches fresh every day, delicious dish of the day (e.g. lasagne, pasta al forno, etc) I could go on and on, just to add - the best coffee in the locality, AND you can have a light meal there too!
