This minimalistic cafe provides a relaxed atmosphere for a bite of cake and coffee. I took a few of their selection home since I was brunching in the area and a houjicha latte to go. The roll cakes were airy and light. The strawberry cream was too strong a combination with the matcha sponge. I enjoyed the houjicha more. We also got a sesame cookie but that was just a mess to eat and not that tasty. I can’t comment on the coffee but my houjicha latte had a pleasant roasted flavour.

Best Flat White I’ve ever tried in the UK. They offer three types of beans for espresso-based drinks. The one I chose was from Ethiopia - elegant and complex, just as they described with a taste of tea + subtle sweetness. I visited numerous coffee shops in Hong Kong / Taiwan / Japan. The Asian coffee culture / style is so different than in this side of the world. If you’d like to try something more delicate, you HAVE TO TRY THEIRS.

I ordered a roll cake and an iced matcha latte, which came to £10.10. I’m not entirely sure why the total was higher than expected — it may have included a service charge or an upcharge not listed on the menu. The roll cake was mildly sweet, with a neutral flavor. It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t particularly stand out either. As for the matcha latte, it lacked the umami depth I was hoping for and felt a bit underwhelming.

I was so looking forward to this place opening and it did not disappoint. I had incredibly high expectations, and I was still blown away!

The interior is beautiful and unique - I loved how spacious and bright the cafe felt, and how it was still so cosy with its minimalist decor.

The staff were beyond friendly and the coffee was definitely among Bristol's best - I'd say this is a must-visit for coffee snobs 😉

As a bonus, the location is super convenient - not many of our specialist coffee shops have parking nearby so it's a real treat to find somewhere with ample pay & display...

The environment of the cafe is very good. It demonstrates the idea of simplicity in the whole restaurant. The staff are very professional and they show their good knowledge about various kind of coffee. If you have preferences about fruity or nutty coffee, I’m sure you can find what you like. One more thing about the food. I tried the banana cake and that’s the best cake I tried in the cafes. I’m sure I will introduce this place to my Bristol friends and new comers...
