Bossman is quite miserable, we ordered 2 x 10 Piece Boneless Box ( 1 for me and 1 for my mate). Theyâve put 20 into 1 box, when I asked the manager for an empty box to split the chicken in, he shrugged at me and gave me a tiny paper bag that would fit about 5 pieces.
I asked him again for a box so I could put my chicken into so I didnât have to eat out of the same box as my mate, he then said that I already have a box. So I said yes, and I want another one so we can split the two orders.
He then told his member of staff to put the chicken into bags instead. Then he walked off and said that I shouldnât disturb his staff under his breath.
The chicken was stale and felt dry, it seems like fresh chicken goes to the uber eats drivers and dry stale goes to the walk-in customers, but wouldnât recommend asking the bossman for a fresh batch, he seems like heâs 2 wrong orders away from burning...

I called the restaurant, was handed to the âdelivery managerâ, who struggled to understand English, then told me I had to come in if I wanted the chicken I had paid for. I asked for the manager, who came on (it was the first person who answered), who said - among other things âI find it hard to believe you didnât get either wings or chickenâ - effectively calling me a liar. I asked his name and he said âI canât give you my nameâ. He then repeated what the âdelivery managerâ (obviously a hastily roped in counter employee) said about coming in to get my chicken. I called the Fishponds branch to be met with a rude man at the end of the phone. I gave him my order number he was telling me it didn't exist. Checked my emails same number even my child read the number out and he basically shouted at me and my child that the order number didn't exist. He then went on and said that it must have been the deliveroo driver as the staff couldnt have possibly have made a human error. No apology nothing just straight up RUDE.
