I recently visited Popeyes and tried a variety of items from their menu, and overall, it was a great experience. It's also worth mentioning that this location serves halal food, which is a big plus for anyone looking for that option. First, I had the Louisiana BBQ Wrap, which was an absolute delight. The wrap was nicely cooked with a slightly toasted exterior that held together well. The BBQ flavor was rich and tangy, and the chicken inside was juicy and seasoned perfectly. It was definitely one of the highlights of the meal. Next up was the Stranded Wrap, and it did not disappoint. It was delicious from the first bite to the last. The ingredients were fresh, the wrap was warm and soft, and the flavors all came together beautifully. It was both filling and flavorful. I also ordered the Cajun Chips, which were fantastic, especially when dipped in the gravy. The chips had a great crunch and a nice kick of Cajun seasoning. The gravy added a savory depth that made them even more enjoyable. I’d highly recommend this combo. On the downside, the BBQ Boneless Chicken Pops didn’t quite meet expectations. The mango habanero sauce they came with was actually very good and added a sweet and spicy kick that worked well. However, the chicken itself was chewy and lacked tenderness. It felt overcooked or perhaps not as fresh, which was disappointing compared to everything else I tried. One thing worth mentioning is that the restaurant itself was very clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly, and the overall environment made for a pleasant dining experience. All things considered, Popeyes delivered on most fronts with great wraps, tasty sides, and a clean, welcoming setting. The fact that it’s halal is another big positive. Despite the letdown with the chicken pops, I’d still give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars. I’ll definitely be back to try more.

In Maths I used to sit by Tara Bennett, she used to copy my answers and I let her. I even completed her homework for her on occasions. It was all worth it, because it would give her a reason to talk to me. This went on for 2 years before I mustered the courage to ask her out. The day came, and I showered, manscaped, and even put on deodorant! I left the house with enough money to pay for the both of us and arrived 10 minutes early. The date went well in my opinion. I walked her to the bus stop after and thought it would be appropriate to have a tongue wrestle. Eyes closed, lips moistened, I was ready. Instead I got a lousy hug, not even a real one. The awful side one. Tara never sat next to me again, upon her request to sit elsewhere. I was left disappointed, upset, underwhelmed, and confused. This is exactly how I felt after my trip to Popeyes. After a long wait, just as I waited for Tara, I was left with Tasteless boneless chicken, Cajun fries, which are just slightly peppery fries, and the Burger being just batter. Biscoff shake is just milk with a hint of peanut butter. Nothing authentic about this establishment. The BBQ wings were decent but too sweet. I struggled to get through this meal. Should've went greggs dammit, imagine the amount of steak bakes I could've got😤

I came here to try out the new Popeye's, it's actually a really nice fast food chain in America so I was hoping it would be the same here. First of all, expect a huge queue - there were people in a line to go in when I left and there were at least 4-5 people waiting, every seat was taken also. Ordering online is the best way to go I think! The food is pretty expensive, they do have a saving menu with £1.99 wraps etc but if you want the main stuff it will cost around £7-£10 for a meal. Chicken is ok but there's a lot better fried chicken from other chains in Bristol, it was notably more dry than say KFC or Miss Millies. You also have to pay £1 for Cajun fries! Rip off, no option for spicy chicken like in the US and you can't pick which pieces you want. I got the Strawberry Shortcake Shake which was pretty good I will say - nice sweetness going on and they include a lot of the crunchy shortbread pieces. Also the staff are worth mentioning as they were absolutely brilliant, working very efficiently and getting the orders out at a really good pace - their work was really impressive and one of the main reasons I'd return if I did. Overall I'd say maybe worth a try if you want to check it out but not amazing.
