Standard issue Greggs with all the usual favourites (their croissants are superb) but with a twist FORGET going there between 7am and 9am on weekday mornings as they regularly run out of things "sorry....they might be ready in another 12 minutes" and have as few staff serving the ever lengthening queues as possible. Does the uniformly awful coffee really have to be made to order during the morning rush when they could be made ready to go as hospitality caterers do with beer at major sporting events? Clearly the staff who have been there longest have an easier shift putting things in and out of the ovens and crucially spending time laughing with their mates serving. Danaya was SO unnecessarily rude to us, it was quiet in there so my partner and I thought we would be served promptly but Danaya decided a lengthy chat with her coworker was much more important. Looked directly at us but then turned around and had her back to us for another minute or so before actually deciding to come and serve. Then when she did serve us we were given no greeting, just "what do you want" then had the price barked at us. Absolute arrogance. Do Greggs staff get proper customer service training??
